SRY ghosted after order placed

I placed an order with SRY back at the end of January and still haven’t received any shipment- and stopped reposing to my chats. I reached out to the new WhatsApp contact too and still nothing. I thought I sid my research and thought they were left. So annoyed I sent money with for nothing. I feel so dumb. Is there anything else I can do or am I just out of luck?
 
Who did you contact initially? How did you get their info, was it posted somewhere?

If you placed your order with a legitamate SRY sales person, tag Alan on their discord site. When I wasn't getting a response (for like a day) to my request for a tracking number I asked "should I check with Alan" and the rep responded within the hour. Alan's their boss.

for what it's worth, I can also vouch for Lisa so far. my order has not been received yet but all the process up to and including getting a shipping number, has been handled in a way that inspires confidence

No, a vendors presence here is NOT an indication of their trustworthiness at all. Not even a little. If it becomes known that they’re full on scamming they’ll be removed but the bar for that is very very high. There are lots of vendors here i wouldn’t purchase from. You need to do your due diligence, reading recent reviews and evaluating the credibility of the reviewers as best you can.
 
I ordered on 27.01 at Lisa (SRY) and recieved it on tuesday. She told me before ordering that because of the new year shippment will take a few weeks - so I'm realy satisfied.

This is not about praising a vendor. This is about sharing different experiences. You don't get the full picture if we only share bad news about something. My experience with SRY was good and that's all what I want to say.

The issue isn’t simply when users are sharing a different experience, it’s when brand new users do so. There is no way to evaluate a brand new user’s credibility, so their reported experience is basically meaningless in an environment where paid shills abound.

In my opinion we are better off with no new users sharing any experiences than we are with it being allowed but surrounded by a cloud of manipulation. I remove obvious shill and spam accounts daily, it’s a very common practice, but some are better at being subtle and manage to skate the line in a way that doesn’t get them a quick ban.

The question is whether it worth the trade-off of “censorship” (a stupid word for moderation/editorial decisions but it gets used a lot so here we are).

My guess is your order got misplaced/forgotten due to Chinese New Year. I’ve heard Lisa hasn’t been as responsive lately. Definitely reach out to Alan. I placed an order with Simo last Thursday and it’s supposed to be delivered tomorrow. She was very responsive.
I have made many orders through Lisa. I agree that “she” hasn’t been as responsive lately but keep at it - trying to reach her and getting help from Alan. In my experience (about 30 orders from more than a dozen vendors) they will come through for you.

At a lot of these vendors, the reps names stay the same but the person behind the name may not. Just in one month of dealing with CN vendors I noticed the messaging style for one change while I was communicating with them. If your vendor rep is available 24/7 chances are your dealing with at least two individuals. Even the Chinese won't work around the clock, even if they want to.
 
As a new user, the difficulty in finding trustworthy reviews is very challenging. The incentives to shill are very high.

If you hang out a while you get to know who the real people are, but it seems like most are still reluctant to share their opinions on good sources.

Man, if it is bad now, just wait until the next generation of AI tools... We'll have no idea who to trust without a meetup.

That is a good point. I didn’t even consider that.

The thing is it's really hard right now, specifically. None of us really trust the ones we did before because the last two months have been nothing but issues. There was a batch of bad raws that was used in the product everyone got in December, and trailing a bit into January. It hit a bunch of the really big sellers too. Then they all went on vacation for weeks. They only JUST got back, and we're waiting to see if they do refunds or replacements for the people who received bad product. There's also the more strict customs that happened while they were on vacation, so we're waiting to see who is actually able to get product to us. You just joined at a really terrible time. There's no good way to answer the question at the moment, because we're all waiting out the upheaval, too. Like, Tuk people would sing the praises of back in January, even though she was a little more expensive. But a ton of people who bought from her got vials of poor quality product, and we're waiting to see if she replaces or refunds. So we can't suggest her right now, until we know that she stands behind her product.

I know people are mad we aren't being helpful right now, but the reality is we're figuring it out right now too. And as a rule, discussion is fine, but you don't want to just straight ask 'who should I buy from' because that just sounds lazy when all you have to do is sort by new and see the latest discussions. You're buying shady products from China, it's irresponsible to not make someone research so they truly understand the risks before jumping in.

Some has to do with SRY’s past. They’ve sold products labeled as one thing, but contained another. They’ve underfilled. They’ve sold low purity peptides. They were charged with attempted importation of protonitazene (more dangerous than fentanyl) and attempted international money laundering.

Then after CNY they claimed customs was a problem so they would only sell out of their roaming US warehouse. Then raised prices on those products. Even though all the other sources continued to ship oils/tabs/peptides from China.

My go to for peptides depends on who has recent testing. SSA is trying to up their game some. I have an order with them now for glutathione and HCG. HYB is lagging but if they can provide positive testing results they are still a decent source for peptides/oils/tabs. I once trusted SRY, ASC, Ronsen, and a few others. But they have slipped up enough lately that I cannot use them.
 
As a new user with about a month of experience, I have found a few good vendor choices. They are talked about every time. Some forum members like them and others don’t. But you can find a source, and it will cost you more. It's the price of admission, I remind myself. I have only purchased domestically, but I'm eyeing my first overseas vendors. I'm first researching for tests and other familiar names and opinions about the vendor. That's what this process of buying grey takes, I believe.

I also now understand the perceived without holding information and the shrouded talk about the sources by established members. This is a grey market; there is a lot of shady shit in grey markets. I had my first “ Fuck I need to get off the server moment” when I saw an exchange between two newbies talking about how they are going to high-dose some Cagri with kisses and heart emojis. Shit like that can give you micro strokes in the membrane.
