What happened to vendor forums?

What happened to vendor forums? It looks like most posts have been deleted.

For vendors who have upgraded to have their own dedicated section/channel/whatever you wanna call it, all of their previous threads have been moved from the main vendor section (now called Marketplace Vendors) to each of their new sections.

A number of promotional threads have been moved to the "Archived Promotions" sub-forum since they are expired and no longer valid, but remain archived in case anyone has an issue with a product or order from a specific past promotion where the vendor is refusing to honor the terms or similar issues. This housekeeping is normally something I try to do once every week or two but recently has been more like once every 4-5 weeks.

No vendor posts have been deleted, and none ever will be. I'm still trying to decide how to best file old posts from vendors who will no longer be with us after this Friday, but haven't finalized that as of yet. They may be temporarily hidden for a while during the transition, but I have no intention of deleting any vendor posts since part of people learning to make the best decisions for their specific circumstances rather than just relying on any kind of potentially biased or misguided lists is having access to the full history of what that vendor has said and done, especially with regard to resolving product and order problems.

Nothing you need to worry about. It's the last date for vendors to decide whether to become paid sponsors or not.
