What's the longest you've used a vial?

As a rookie I am unsure how long can you use a vial, as in drawing 1 time per week, for how many weeks? On the r/tirzepatidecompund they will use a vial untill the last drop, if it's clear and nothing can be seen floating in it. Jano says in his interview he can only say 1 month, but says it's because of things that could be growing in it.

For the more experienced ones, what's your record?

I saw someone say they used the same vial for 16 weeks.

Maybe the T150 is being used in “clinics” or in large families…

Or being split by friends by transferring to sterile vials

Or enterprising folks making a business out of it..
^^^^^ this guy knows ^^^^^

I was one of the first to buy 120mg Triz from Wheat months ago. Have no idea why I thought it would be a good idea. As this poster said, I used it to make 2 60mg vials for friends research. Still have 9 in the freezer, no idea when I will use the rest.

10 weeks with sema.

Compounders will send out 12 weeks of reconstituted supply.

Clearly, contamination plays a part. I don't know whether that's needle punctures or injecting air, but I get edgy past 8 weeks from first pin even if it still looks clear.

That's what I'm wondering about.

At least three months for my reconstituted tirz. Hell, I think I've been using the same bottle of Hospira for at least 4-5 months now.
And you don't notice any difference in effect after 2 or 3 months? That is really telling and interesting to note for my own research.

No difference at all in tirz effectiveness. I even traveled to Europe with a vial for three weeks this summer where it was mostly unrefrigerated. Used it for a while after I got back. No difference.

that's the main reason I'm moving to pens when I finish using up my 22mg compounded bottles. Filtering into a pen cartridge means no air coming in.

I have to say that I am curious myself as I see big demand for T100 now and then and wonder what the heck size dose are these folks taking?
Many times those are “family sized” vials for folk w/2+ people in the house on peps.

I’ve used a pen for 18 weeks because it held 18 doses; use good aseptic technique and wash your hands plus keep your reconned peps in the fridge and you’re good.

This is a great idea, I have seen them around but never realized that’s a big bonus of them. Do you have any brand/model picked out?

I use a V1 from thepeppen for my klow, and have a second one set aside for my tirz when it's time to switch. I can't say I love that model, because it's kind of hard to push the plunger. I'd look for an auto inject one, but they reportedly aren't strong enough to work well with most sterile carts, and I haven't done the research on all of that.

That's not a real big deal for me for tirz, though, since it's only once a week and in a place that's easy to get to; as opposed to the klow, that's daily and on the sides or butt.

Just reconstituted R50 in a pen yesterday and I haven't had Reta for months so started both the wife and myself on a 2.5mg starter dose... will keep it in the fridge and hope we can use it in around 6 weeks as we up our doses.

Made a pen with 30mg reta yesterday. Starting at 2mg/6 days and ramping slower :

4x2mg, 4x3mg, 2x4mg and 2mg as wiggle room.

So 60 days.
