I would argue that if a man divorces a woman, or pushes her to divorce, because he is incapable of letting her make her own decisions about her healthcare, he is the one who is refusing to be accountable to his vows.And this is why there are so many single mothers out there. No doubt avoiding an ounce of accountability.
I can understand wanting to avoid experimental drugs or the grey market, and I think it would be reasonable to voice those concerns, particularly if there are children in the picture, but if he wants to control her ability to have compounded or name brand tirz, that says far more about him than it does anyone else.
