I donāt think youāre attacking me because you donāt even know me. What you are is just another in a line of fitness folks who know nothing about this.
(As an aside, remember when it was all the rage for well-known fitness folks to āget fatā and then lose it? So theyād āknowā what it was like? That was hilarious and pointless and insulting.)
No one said people shouldnāt try healthier habits. Itās the abject arrogance of folks like you that seem to think we donāt know that, seem to think we havenāt tried tried that, or havenāt been told that, and most of all, havenāt been successful at it *a million and two* times. Successful until we cannot hold the line any longer. Until whateverās broken in the brain wins out.
Logging food? Thatās the first step in most programs that donāt prepare the food for you. (Raise your hand if you remember WWās little paper booklets, lol) Even the ones that do prepare the food talk about it and suggest it bc they know we underestimate what weāre putting on our mouths.
Measuring food? Weighing food? Reading every label? Check, check, and check.
Eating well, knowing what youāre eating, and movement, I said nothing about those. Those are great things. Those are great things that for some of us (as I said, this isnāt everyoneās story thatās on glp-1s, look at you) are almost independent of the medicine, that are made possible by the medicine, that will continue to be possible bc of the medicine.
Though, if folks choose not to do those things, or sometimes, or in any combination, thatās their business.
So no, there wonāt be a meeting of the minds on this one.
Such is life and thatās ok.
