With the excitement around Reta's phase 3 trial results being shared, I'm sure there are more people now than ever contemplating making the switch from Tirz to Reta.

And while I've read quite a few posts from people who are either stacking both with each other or other peps, or switched from low to mid doses of one as they transition to the other, I haven't seen many posts from long time users who have maxed out Tirz - 15+mg/week, titrated off while working their way up to high dose Reta.

If this is you, please share your experiences and results from doing so. I'm very curious about this and think it would be useful to the community to have these examples in one thread.

I'm on a high dose, not the highest, but I think, 8 mg reta is considered a high dose. I came from Tirz 11 mg, because of side effects and stalling.
I don't stack with other glp's, I don't see the point , they hit same receptor, and it may very well increase the risk of pancreatitis. I did stack with cagri, when I titrated up, but at 8 mg, I'm very suppressed and happy.

When you switched from 11mg tirz, did you start at 8mg Reta? Or did you start lower and if so what did you start at?

Im on and have been on 15mg tirz for nearly a year and have completely stalled. I have been maintaining tho. But have about 30lbs to go to be super happy and content. So my tolerance is super high and wondering if starting at high dose reta would be an issue. At the moment I’m taking 15mg tirz on saturdays and 2.5mg Reta on wednesdays… feel zero difference adding the Reta 2.5mg so I’m hesitant cutting tirz out completely unless its ok (or there is anecdotal evidence) to start at a high dose of weed after taking a week or so off of tirz.

If you're not using something like GLP1Poltter.com to look at the blood concentrations of the different drugs in your system over time, you're probably going to miss some insights. In particular, if you're not waiting a full 4-5 weeks you're "stacking" no matter what due to the half-life of the peptides. Second, if you think that the side effects are related to the peak level of peptides (or combination of peptides) in your system you can't really optimize it so you'll go longer than necessary at lower doses. There are more complex schedules that are not weekly.

This is just a one possible plot, and there are many ways to do it, but not waiting at least 3 days between means you may not see side effects before the next. Everyone's response to these is different. The different peptides have different half lives, the receptor responses are different for each peptide, there may be non-linear responses. The only "safe" thing to do is wait 5 weeks and then start the standard protocol titration after that. What's your risk tolerance?
