i was pretty active here several months ago, then i took some time away, probably around the same time qsc took some time away (although unrelated). i have resurfaced on the pep forums in the last few weeks and it just seems, much quieter, both here and on p*ppys. i haven't pulled up discord yet.

it looks like a handful of vendors are still posting in both places but the discussion is much quieter. any idea what changed?

secondly, officially today is the end of de minimis, which means every package entering the US is subject to tariffs no matter how small. i wonder what this will mean for buying peps from china warehouse vendors. and also wonder how the same vendors are stocking up US warehouses without a significant price increase. any thoughts there?

Its always the Consumer that pays the highest price right, so I can see prices going up because vendors still want and will make money.

I have also noticed that it is a bit more quiet on here and on a couple of discords that I read occasionally. I am not sure why...would love to know the answer. We are getting so many new members every day so you would think that it would be the opposite.

I think this is one of the most accessible sources for Noobs. Then they branch out as they gain access to other sources of information

Probably a couple of reasons -

1. Less drama. Dad came home and we stopped arguing to avoid getting the belt.

2. I can't remember my second point... occasional cagri user - forgive my fibril ridden forgetfulness.

It is quieter everywhere. I think once people get on glp1s and lose their weight and kind of figure out things as far as maintaining and where to buy, they don't need these type of forums and discord groups as much.

It can't be this. This makes too much sense.

Okay, it's probably this.

It's definitely a lot quieter here and across a lot of the peptide and GLP space since the beginning of August. It seems seasonal as I remember it being similarly quiet this time last year. I suspect between back-to-school, Labor Day, people getting in those last minute trips and vacations, etc. it's not anything but people spending more of their time dealing with real life instead of internet life. I'm sure things will start picking up again once the cooler weather and everything turning brown and gray in a lot of the northern hemisphere starts to set in.

The de minimis thing I think is so fluid and unpredictable that we're all still in a bit of a holding pattern waiting to see what happens next, which could be in an hour, a day, or never. It's insane, and at least for me I know there's nothing I can do but just deal with whatever I have to when the time comes.

I must say, it took me a couple of minutes to find back the url of this site tonight 😂

Every time I log into tiktok there is vendors, grey vendors posted front and center. I see people asking posters their dose, taking instructions from anyone. When I was first trying to find grey vendors on their no one would tell you. Now it's just boldly posted. Some of the tiktoks are very helpful, but I feel like viewers are just running with whatever the person posting is saying. Which can be kind of scary. I haven't gone on a buying spree myself yet still taking it slow.
I will say when I needed help with the dosing calculator site and asked a question on here (in my opinion wasn't the most responsive) I knew I needed to do more reading, but a quick video on tiktok answered it easily how to do it with steps and recommended an easier dosing site. I kind of stopped asking questions that day from the fear of coming off "dumb" or lazy when it is probably listed on one of the many forums or bring told to do more reading/ research. Although information is easy to find on tiktok, it also makes me nervous that I should stock up while I can.

Some vendors have you pay the tariff like hk I think and some added 10 bucks to shipping but most did nothing. I think if they claim your 3 or 6 hundred dollar peptide order worth 29.99 it won't matter much.

As someone who just joined the forums, started reta a month ago and still trying to learn as much as possible, I'm scared to post lol. I don't want to get flamed for asking questions so I mostly lurk

We’re tired, boss.

Don't be, and there's nothing wrong with lurking. I can't count how many forums I've belonged to where I never post but read and absorb things regularly.

While a lot of questions have been asked, there are still countless ones that haven't, and mostly as long as your questions don't start with things along the lines of "who is the best vendor?" or "I highly recommend Uncle Fester's Peptide Farmstand" you won't have a problem.
