I have suffered migraines my whole life. The current medications covered by my insurance (emitrex, maxalt) give me horrible side effects. The newer prophylactic migraine medications like Emgality, Amovig are not covered. They are in a family of drugs called calcitronin gene related peptide antagonists CGRP inhibitors. I can't afford any of these new wonder drugs without insurance coverage. I am new to the "grey research drugs" . Does anyone know of a source for any research CGRP antagonist drugs?

Search this forum for "migraine" a lot pops up.
I saw that Someone on Reddit said that hers completely stopped after starting Glo..
I have heard others say that Botox is effective, and best to go to someone specialized for that purpose.

My insurance does cover botox for migraines. I have heard mixed results. I have ordered some of the components of GLOW and I am waiting for delivery. I'm sure there would be a large market for grey CGRP inhibitors.

I’d love to find a peptides too. DOA from seeking health helped tremendously. Also the book Heal Your Headaches is the GOAT. The program isn’t easy to follow but it helps a ton.

Thank you for the tip. I see a product on Amazon called histamine digest from seeking health. DAO enzyme supplement is that the one?

I pin 2.8mg GLOW and my migraines dissappear in 15mins, it's like I've discovered a life hack.
This also works for me just taking GHKcu, so that must be it. It's s way underrated peptide, modifies gene expression for over 6000 genes. From anecdotes it seems it impacts everyone in different ways.

Yes it is. It is expensive. Take it with every meal 15 minutes before you eat. Histamine (not just the allergies type) sets of neurotransmitters that can cause headaches. I take GABA, taurine, and choline along with DOA and my migraines, sinus pain, joint pain is significantly reduced. All the prescriptions didn’t help. The heal your headache explains the glutamine rich foods that set off the reaction. Aged meats and cheeses, yogurt, sour cream. All the good stuff. DOA is an enzyme that neutralizes the histamines triggered from what we eat. Reddit has good info on histamine intolerance just avoid the folks that are on their talking about season allergy reactions. It’s not the same. Dirty Genes is also a good book.

There are cheaper plant based DOA sources. Didn’t help me. Try the seeming health brand first. If you notice improvement, then try the cheaper ones.

I just ordered that peptide from the SRY USA warehouse this morning. Now I will have all the components of GLOW. I'm excited. If it works for me that would improve my life as much as trizepatide!!!

I hope it helps. I bought the book over 10 years ago and didn’t try the plan because I thought it was to hard. I had a horrible migraine and noticed that many of the trigger foods I had recently eaten. Yogurt, deli meat. For me migraines and histamine triggering foods are one and the same. The Facebook group Migraine strong was set up as a support group related to the book.
