ohhh i get this too, i was wondering what was going on! it almost feels like the sensitivity after i have my hair pulled back tight. but i dont wear my hair up anymore.I have been feeling something like that on the top of my scalp. Like a sunburn, itchy and tender.
Maybe a little, but that journey was on its way before my tirz one started...ohhh i get this too, i was wondering what was going on! it almost feels like the sensitivity after i have my hair pulled back tight. but i dont wear my hair up anymore.
have you experienced hair loss?
Same! I am so glad I found this thread. It was driving me crazy trying to figure out why I felt this.Interesting…scalp skin sensitivity has been one of the most significant forms of Allodynia that I’ve experienced.
I had that with Sema. It felt like a sunburn all down my back and arms. It was pretty annoying, but eventually it went away. I think it hung around for about 3 weeks.I’m near the end of my 9th month on Tirzepatide. Never went above 5.0 mg. I’ve lost 45lbs and all my health metrics have returned to normal levels, like BP, A1c, lipids, cognition, etc. Switched from branded Mounjaro to compounded Tirz. in July. All along the way I have experienced Allodynia (skin sensitivity). I’ve had only a couple of periods where it subsided. It’s generally always there. Sometimes the whole envelope of my body and sometimes spot areas like my upper arms or my flanks or fingers. It’s tolerable, so it never threatened my commitment to the medication…in fact, I’ve learned to use it as an indication that I know the meds are working. I’m just curious about other people’s experiences with this side effect. Also if anyone has a clue about how to subdue it.
