Anyone else receive a Notice of Seizure via certified mail?

By a Canadian postal worker, but it makes sense to me in the US:

Best place to receive mail is at a community mail box (the brown ones at the end of streets) because they are locked, nobody can see your mail other than the postal worker and your self. Also, having packages delivered to a community mail box means no possibility for a controlled delivery so long as the package is small enough to fit (most of them are) and is not registered / signature required (those MUST be delivered to the door, along with over sized packages)
People's biggest concern should be Canada customs. They are the ones who are specifically looking for fishy packages.

That's why 2 things:

Keep it domestic ie within Canada whenever possible.

And if you could keep it to a regular letter size, it won't be checked by customs.

Once it comes to Canada post, we couldn't care less. Just want to get it delivered

I have to disagree to these as a Canadian

Best way is using FlexDelivery PO box if you really need the package to go through Canada Post, India Pharma only ship that way for instance. Otherwise, DHL is good for orders from China (as we speak, this changes often). From the US, any private carrier is good, they don't seem to be as strict.

You need to put your real info on it at the end of the day, whether you are signing it or not don't change jack shit.

What matters tho, is if you receive it or it ends up being delivered in your neighborhood community mailbox or door, then it's not a fun moment having to ring their doorbell and request it lol

So now I always put the virtual PO box address if using Canada Post. You need to show up to collect it, so in the event that they don't ship at the right pickup location, nobody gets to see what you ordered. For private courriers, I always do pickup too, again for the same reasons.

This has been the most reliable way so far, because trust me it's all fun and game until someone else than you gets your package. Especially if it contains shady things 🤣

That makes sense! I have worried about the mail being misdelivered, especially since we get a new mail carrier every year almost.

It happened way too often for me, for real my neighbor must think I'm some type of psychotic now

I live in a street where all the apartment building are exactly the same, so it's very easy to miss deliver something one bloc away. Community mailboxes are also a mess, idk postal workers often put things in the wrong one, since one of these deserves like 10 addresses. It happens with letters too all the time

Only one has required a signature and ironically they are the ones getting seized.

Is being shipped from India a red flag for seizure? Even though I ordered from an Indian pharmacy, they shipped out from other countries.

Looking in the old posts, I also found BG pharm (which does not require a signature, and they are not in India or China). The only thing I don't like about them is the $93 minimum order requirement.

I received a letter of peptides being seized and that I may have an interest in them.

It gives me 4 options.

Why is this making it look like I am committing a criminal act? It was Tirz, Nad+ and BPC.

I’ve never received a letter like this before.
Its the standard Customs and Border Protection seizure letter. Its best to choose 3, sign it, and move on. I say this instead of ignoring it since it came certified mail and you signed for it I assume. That means you legally received the notice, you can't say you never got it if they pursue the matter legally.

Just know that anything else coming through customs with your name or that address on the package is now guaranteed to be inspected every time for at least a year. So if you can get the seller to reship the order for you, needs to be a new name and new address.

Been there, done that, got the letter too....for something WAY worse that research peptides. As long as you relinquish any interest in the seized item, your done with them legally. Why you are relinquishing interest (it's not mine, I didn't order that, I don't know what that is) means nothing to them.

Are the peptides being seized as collateral damage, like just in case they could be HGH, steroids, etc?

During the operation, Chicago CBP identified high-risk shipments and seized 67 shipments of Human Growth Hormones and Steroids, 3 shipments of precursor chemicals, and 1 shipment of 4-Butanediol. Most of these shipments originated from Hong Kong and were destined for different cities within the U.S. Most of the shipments were being sent under the master carton smuggling scheme. A master shipment can have several smaller preaddressed unmanifested or mis-manifested parcels which would later be sent through a domestic carrier...

The other locations participating in this operation included John F. Kennedy International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, Port of Memphis. Port of Louisville, Port of Indianapolis, and Port of Cincinnati.

Read on discord a guy from Chicago's reta was seized and the called it hgh. They would have taken it anyway but I don't think they test every kit they're lumping it all together.

Contact who you bought it from and send them a copy of the letter. Many larger places will do a reship. Well they use to for other items never had tirz confiscated.

Like I have said elsewhere, CBP is stepping up searches. But it seems only Chicago is getting confiscated.
I had a shipment from India confiscated in New York a few weeks ago. I don’t think anywhere is immune to it. In a positive note, I look at USAJOBS a few times a week and haven’t seen any job postings for CBP yet.

Peptides are on the target list too, but HGH and steroids are higher priority.

The initial article said an operation.... indicating its now over. They did a 3 or 4 week blitz, no more authorized overtime. Like trucking, this 2 week enforcement is brakes, this month distracted driving, etc.... noones staffed or financed to be 100% balls out all of the time. Soon vendors will be getting info on stepped up ops 2 weeks before it occurs.

I’ve read a lot of advice on Reddit saying just ignore the letter, they’re going to seize it regardless. I had a shipment of generic Benicar seized years ago, from an India shipment. They just advised me they had seized it in the letter and didn’t give any other options. Had many China shipments since then, no other problems (so far) or extra scrutiny. CBP doesn’t have the staff or resources to actually go after those ordering products. It’s random as hell and there is no way they’ll ever get to 50% scrutiny of the millions of packages coming in every day.

I have had zero issues with my suppliers, but they all have U.S. Warehouse hubs and route things through there via one shipping method, then it gets switched over to Fedex. I have read some ports are worse than others for seizure (particularly east coast ones).

Had a package seized in Cincinnati 2 weeks ago. Seller has reshipped.
Received the reship. Got it in 3 business days by FedEx.
Weird thing is customs sent a letter that listed EXACTLY what was in the first package. I can only assume the shipper included that information in the package.
The package I received didn't have that information spelled out. I was able to figure out what was what, but only because I knew what had been ordered.
