Hi, new to the forum and peptides. I recently received an order of AOD-9604 and am having the classic reconstitution issues.
The situation: I started with a new vial of Hospira BAC Water and new vial of 0.6% acetic acid. I have tried to reconstitute 5 vials of 5mg AOD in 3ML vials.
Note: I used the same vial of BAC to reconstitute the KLOW and MOTS-C that came with the AOD and had no issues with the first vial of either.
After 48-hours I had the following results
Vial 1: Added 2.5ml of BAC. Had large particulates that wouldn't dissolve so I added 0.5ml of acetic. Now very cloudy with little floaters. I did have a bad angle on mixing the BAC and the vacuum really sucked in the water as I didn't have a good pressure on the plunger so it created a lot of turbulence so this one might be one me.
Vial 2. Added 0.5ML of Acetic Acid, let sit for a minute then added 2.5ml of BAC. End result, large clumps and very cloudy.
Vial 3: Added 0.6ml of Acetic Acid, let sit a minute then added 2.4ml of BAC. End result, a little cloudy but large clumps.
Vial 4: Added 3ml of BAC. End result, no floaters but cloudy
Vial 5: Added 1ML of air then added 3ML of BAC (to slow down the mix rate from the vacuum). End result is no floaters and cloudy but less so than vial 4.
Thus far, I haven't seen any gelling. Just the cloudy and particles.
My questions:
1. Am I doing something wrong or did I get a bad batch? Everything I have read says I should also be getting gelling with the particles if I mix it wrong and I haven't gotten any gelling.
2. I know particles aren't good but the last 2 vials that are just cloudy, are those 2 OK. Anyone have real experience with this?
