How to prevent Aod from gelling? Thx
If it is gelling, it’s probably bad. What reconstitution solution are you using? How to prevent Aod from gelling? Thx
Sterile water would probably work better if it is that sensitive.Bacteriostatic water0.9% benzyl. Do I have to keep it in the refrigerator? I have read no refrigeration needed , use acetic acid instead ect... what is the actual protocol for this peptide? Thx
So, if it is the buffer causing the gelling, would filtering correct this? Many suppliers have started providing special BAC water with some acetic acid to lower the pH to avoid reconstitution problems with AOD as since late last year it seems like the raw producers and/or suppliers are failing to properly buffer the solution for proper pH prior to lyophilization.
No. Ideally the solution should be buffered to reconstitute at the desired pH with normal BAC or sterile water. Adjusting pH is a chemical process, not a mechanical one like filtering. Many people have figured out how to adjust the pH of their BAC water with acetic acid on their own, but it's not something that most people should be attempting. So, if it is the buffer causing the gelling, would filtering correct this?
Use AA water ,Absolutely no gelHow to prevent Aod from gelling? Thx
Any buring with that waterUse AA water ,Absolutely no gel
AA recommended??Use AA water ,Absolutely no gel
Kimerachems sells AOD with PH balance water to avoid yelling on the vile. Never tried it before but it is the only vendor out there that comes with PH water. If it is gelling, it’s probably bad. What reconstitution solution are you using?
You should never, ever yell at a vial, even if you suffer from a pH imbalance 🤣Kimerachems sells AOD with PH balance water to avoid yelling on the vile.
I got some of this from Kimera last week, and it has definitely cut down on the gelling of my Chinese AOD-9604.Kimerachems sells AOD with PH balance water to avoid yelling on the vile. Never tried it before but it is the only vendor out there that comes with PH water.
I got both because I needed some AOD, anyway.Did you purchase the water only or both, PH Water and AOD?
Just reading that comment makes me consider calling VPS (Vial Protective Services). You should never, ever yell at a vial, even if you suffer from a pH imbalance 🤣
Thanks for the info! I saw they sell the acetic acid solution for AOD reconstitution, but the COA for AOD-9604 is below 99%, which raises some concerns for me and other buyers. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the quality of their AOD!I got both because I needed some AOD, anyway.
I've been using AOD-9604 for about a month now. I've bought it from several US vendors and had no issues with gelling. Nice clear liquid with no residue or lumps.
I just got a kit from a Chinese vendor recently, and the AOD-9604 looks awful when I reconstitute it. Within a day, it is just ugly. Cloudy with some huge floaters. How much acetic acid, of what concentration, are we talking about adding here to change the pH enough to stop the gelling?
I've seen Acetic Acid 0.6% Solution for sale.
I've been getting mind at Tydes. I've gone through three so far, and it's not gelling.
I’ll let you know after I use it!Thanks for the info! I saw they sell the acetic acid solution for AOD reconstitution, but the COA for AOD-9604 is below 99%, which raises some concerns for me and other buyers. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the quality of their AOD!
So, I reconstitued the AOD-9604 that I ordered from Kimera earlier tonight. It is absolute garbage. It looked awful as soon as I added the pH balanced water. All cloudy with some crystals. I put it in the refrigerator and just looked at it moments ago. It's actually even worse now. Cloudy with crystals everywhere. I removed the label to get a really good look at it, and the entire vial is full of crystals in the liquid and on the sides of the vial. I threw it in the trash. I will never order anything from Kimera again.I’ll let you know after I use it!

I've used AOD from Simple Peptide and Amplified Amino, and their stuff is great. Dissolves instantly and does not gel with regular Hospira. The AOD from ASC gels a bit, but improves when I use pH balanced water. I did contact Kimera, so perhaps I'll hear back from them tomorrow.Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear this. I've never used this vendor but it might be worth contacting them with feedback about your experience. There are so many reports of "geling" with AOD that I'm starting to understand why it was never adopted for therapeutic use. It doesn't really seem stable, and appears to have only a moderate effect on weight loss.
I've heard good things about the AOD from Skye, may be worth a try.
I believe you are supposed to use acetic acid for AOD.So, I reconstitued the AOD-9604 that I ordered from Kimera earlier tonight. It is absolute garbage. I think that's the point of their pH balanced water that they sell with their AOD. It does help with ASC's AOD, which can sometimes gel. The other suppliers' AOD (Simple Peptide, Amplified Amino) is perfectly clear with regular Hospira with no gelling.I believe you are supposed to use acetic acid for AOD.
I see. Sorry it sucked bro.I think that's the point of their pH balanced water that they sell with their AOD. It does help with ASC's AOD, which can sometimes gel. The other suppliers' AOD (Simple Peptide, Amplified Amino) is perfectly clear with regular Hospira with no gelling.
