Bad experience with Amo

I'm an experienced sema buyer. Previously bought from xce, got screwed over by HT (refunded, thankfully), then ordered from Amo. First Amo order of S10 was perfect. Second order (S10) received in December is garbage. Even doubling the dose there is zero effect. I still had some of my first order left, so tried that again and it worked perfectly, so it's not me. I tried a second vial from the new order a week later. Also bunk.

I contacted Binh. Gave him the serial/reference number and sent photos. Offered to pay postage to return my order to him for a replacement. It's not exactly a big order (£130 inc. shipping). He flat out refused to replace. I know you have to go back and forth with these guys to get them to do anything, but he refused. Told me he 'trusted' his supplier. I asked for copies of independent testing, he refused. Told me to pay for my own test.

I have to admit I was surprised at this reaction as I've only heard good things about them so far, plus I was a repeat customer.

I've done a chargeback so I'm not out any money. Sharing this so it's on record in case anyone else has issues with Amo.

(I'm still learning how to use the new Peppys, but will try and post this there, too).

I believe it's standard practice at most vendors to deny refunds when a buyer claims not to feel any effect from the medication.
I asked for a replacement and offered to pay shipping, which is pretty standard in my experience.

I'd honestly get it tested. If amo was hit by zero peps I'd want to know- as of right now a lot of us suspect they're manufacturers, and that would be important information.
For sure. I'm a small time buyer tho, rarely spend more than £260/year. Happy to post it to someone if they want to get it tested.

Hopefully I'm an outlier and just had a bad batch but at least it's out there if anyone else does have issues.

My own pet theory is that none of the vendors we deal with are manufacturers. They purchase the vials with the stuff already in it.

I dunno... seems pretty reasonable to not offer a refund if all you have are "feelz".

Someone on TG may have tested that batch. Amo gets tested a ton, and I haven't heard of any bad batches from them recently.

It may be true with Amo, considering their powder is different from every other vendor.

I think there are probably a few finishers (what I think amolist most likely is) and maybe one or more of them supplies to us, but most probably are more b2b and sell the vials in bulk to the people who then sell to us. Some of whom may be buying in bulk from more than one finisher, which is why the same batch can have more than one color cap (ala QSC)

Then there's the question of how many raw manufacturers there are- I think I've seen the number 4 thrown around a bunch.

I'm nosy so I want to know who is who, but the obfuscation is a necessary evil to keep the grey market around and not taken down.

Do you know where I could go to see/join in on Amo tests? If the GB I just joined because amo was down doesn't work out they're my next choice.

I have 2 of their r20 kits from like about 2 months ago. Anyone know if those got tested? Just curious. Haven’t tried it yet

I've only made one purchase with Amo and it went well. Just curious, have we heard of any failed tests for their products?

I once joined a TG that had a bunch of Amo tests... I think I got the link from tirzhelp? But I have since left all TG groups because they're too chaotic for me, so I can't remember, I'm sorry! Lately I've just been checking the swiss for all my updates and amo hasn't popped up lately.

Thanks for sharing about your experience @PrimroseHill .

"Told me he 'trusted' his supplier. I asked for copies of independent testing, he refused." - Unfortunate to be treated with that attitude. Do you have a link to any of the supplier-provided testing?

It seems that testing from the customer side is the only way to be certain of the product's base quality, for sake of receiving a replacement/refund from a vendor. Or for providing the public with definitive information for harm reduction.

May you share with us any details about the batch of Semaglutide that has you feeling concerned? IE milligram amount, cap colors/style, what type of box or container it came in?

Honestly it was extremely unreasonable for you to do the chargeback thing, especially based on your "feels". You do realize that's how payment options get ruined for other customers, right? Not many vendors will accept Paypal and the stunt you pulled is 100% why they won't. Too many people stiffing vendors by keeping product and stopping payment. Bottom line: if you think your batch isn't working, you need to be a big kid and pay out of pocket for Jano to test a vial. If it's bunk, show the test and ask for the vendor to make it right. If it tests good, then the problem is with you. Super uncool the way you handled this.

I've shared the info in case anyone else has problems. No one needs your coolness approval to get their money back if they're scammed.

Hopefully no one else has issues, but the info is out there if they do.

It's not about my "coolness approval". It's about you potentially screwing over thousands of happy customers because of your inability to be rational and conduct yourself in a proper manner. Like it or not, you're in the wrong here.

Amo's product will define their success, as it should.
