Blood work

My doctor did the normal bloodwork CBC panel plus some Thyroid (TSH, T4, T3) testing as the minimum before starting Tirzepatide. They also recommend checking Vitamin B and D levels as lots of people can have love levels and that is easily fixed. I also had my hormone levels checked as I wanted to get a baseline. I'd encourage everyone to consult a knowledgeable doctor and get bloodwork as you may learn a lot. I know I did.

It's always a good idea to get things checked even if not starting any new peptide.

But some markers to check is everything your doc will let you, blood glucose, A1C, test, lipids, vitamins.

Probably a good idea to get a dexa or InBody scan before hand as well. They're not the end all be all, but if you do enough to track trends, that would be great.

For all of you that are on it, does your doctor know you’re taking it? Is it prescribed or are you going Grey market? I’m going gray market and I don’t really want to share that with my doctor.

I've requested bloodwork from my naturopath but will not be saying anything what I'm taking. I've just told her that I have lost 22lbs and want to see where I am. She didn't ask how I lost the weight (yet).
