I’m just wondering how long it takes cagrillintide to suppress appetite and if anyone is using or has used it by itself and what were the effects.

The first time I dosed 250mcg (1/4 of a milligram), I couldn't eat for almost two days.
Other people need 1-2+ mg to feel it.
It varies from person to person and you won't know what works for you until you try it.
Was that the day after you pinned it or a couple days after

Put another way, start low but don’t be scared to bump it up if it isn’t working. just because you see lightweights like @peptideusername here losing it after a measly 1/4 of a mg doesn’t necessarily mean you are going to be such a candy ass; you might need an actual dose to have an effect.

I started at 0.3 mg and incremented it monthly by 0.1 mg until I hit my sweet spot which for me has been 0.7 mg. I haven't increased the dosage in 4 months and use it for maintenence. It's the most potent weight-loss peptide in my experience.

Early on I upped the dosage from 0.4 mg to 0.7 mg and was barely able to work that week. Every day I would come home from work and sleep right away, leaving my chores and paperwork. Now it's the weight-loss peptide that gives me the least side effects.

Definitely start small; some of us it hits hard. You can always add more. There are some people it doesn't hit until 1+ mg and I'm pretty sure there's at least one person here taking like 3mg a week.

I started at half what peptideusername was using (.125mg) and in the end, I just passed it on to some friends. Wasn't worth feeling so sick for me, especially since I wasn't losing any more than before. For most people, it just results in less appetite and maybe some nausea.

I started at 0.13mg a week, six months ago. For peps, I often start with only a 10% dose to test my tolerance. The appetite suppression started within a few days. Even at 0.13mg, I felt quite nauseous for a few weeks, less later on, but still present. I stopped 3 weeks ago (was at 0.9mg a week). I had a nice burger and it now tasted good. While on Cagri, a lot of smells I could not tolerate, like beef. It was suppressing my appetite, but in an awful way, for me. I normally never get nauseous.

They trialed it as high as 4.5mg. If it works for you low then that is awesome and you should definitely try that first, but I don’t know where this idea came from that people should expect to dose it down in the sub-mg range outside of titration.

As a starting dose? The study I looked at started with equal parts sema and cagri at .25 each. I started lower, knowing both that I'm sensitive and I was already on a higher sema dose. They may have gone as high as 4.5, but they started significantly lower 🤷‍♀️ And anecdotal reports on this forum also show a wide variety of tolerances. I wasn't saying to stay small, I was saying to start small and see how you feel.

Part of it is probably more to do with price- up until recently it wasn't all that cheap for something most people use as a booster rather than their primary choice for weight loss.

I don't have any adverse side effects and have been taking Cagri for 10 months. I noticed my 5mg Tirz appetite suppression continuing through days 5 and 6 at about 1mg Cagri but no difference up to that point. I thought I had bad product so 3 different vendors yielded the same non result. I'm now up to 2.2mg for same effect w/o ever having had to increase my Tirz dose from 5mg. I've been maintaining below goal.

It's wise with any peptide to start with a minimum dose to test tolerance.
