Hey everyone, I paid extra for faster shipping by ordering "Item X" (5mg) from a vendor with USA warehouse stock. When it arrived:
The vial had a different color cap than shown on the original COA I was sent (which matched 10mg).
The plastic box label said 5mg, which is what I ordered.
But the original COA was clearly for 10mg.
Vendor's response: "It's all good, that's what you ordered." Then they sent me a brand-new COA from a completely different lab AND company name altogether, claiming this now matches what I received. I get that vendors sometimes fill from whatever batch is available when low, and mismatches happen in this space. I've always third-party tested my peptides anyway (and yeah, sometimes I do a tiny test dose while waiting for results)
Question for the group, Should I just send this one off for my own independent third-party testing to verify purity/quantity and move on if it checks out? Or is the COA swap/red flag and avoid this vendor going forward? Has anyone dealt with similar COA switches or label mismatches? How did you handle it? Appreciate any advice or experiences trying to stay safe and smart with this stuff.
Thanks!
