🆒 RETATRUDING HAS BEGUN!! I finally pushed the plunger!🆒

With all due respect, I can't agree with on a lot of this, esp........

"Understand that reta is slow, 8 weeks minimum before you will lose weight. You may need to titrate up to 4mg to 6mg before anything happens".

Everyone reacts differently to the peptide. Some people have a major appetite suppression with just 5.0mg.
Others like myself had none, not even at 8mg.

I lost weight immediately and steadily since I started in January at 0.5mg

Try to eat real food as much as possible and keep the replacement stuff as a last resort.
I started with 1900 calories, 140g protein and 25g fibre right from day one; eating every 2/2.5 hours smaller meals and still do it to this day.
Starting weight was 165lbs - now at 141lb
I just saw your oh-so-unimpressive pic😒🙄. I have only one thing to say-How on earth are you named charlie BROWN? You should be charlie RippedWhite AF.

Be ready for a clothing change over pretty soon 😁
Man I was born ready...I have a storage shed of clothes that I need to be compelled to unhoard.

Stay fit and dont take so much you become faint / malnourished (guilty)
That'll depend on the perfidy of US Customs. They're the only bulwark against my superlative greed and gluttony. How else would I have become obese?

Following cuz Reta therapy may be in my future. Tirz veteran (well, 11 months) but results are diminishing and I'm nearing max dose (currently 12.5 mg/week). Hoping it works well for you!
You may wanna look at using Tiny dose Reta along with Tirza. Some folks here are indulging so.

Protein replacement drinks has done wonders for me while on Reta, it allows me to get my protein in without having to feel like I'm force feeding myself. 230g / day for me has done wonders with weight loss and keeping muscle.

Best of luck and stay hydrated!
That's the plan.. My family has a love-hate relationship with whey protein shakes. I love it and they hate it. Can't really blame them, downwind breaks hard.

Electrolytes every day. A lot of my sides effects or day to day discomfort were solved by incorporating this.
Bezos is delivering this as we speak.

My best advice is to know your resting heart rate pre Reta and monitor for changes.
Was between 66 and 70.

Not for me it wasn't. I lost the first and second week at 2mg, and continue to lose at 6mg.
Awesome but the reason I mentioned it is because over and over and over I see people at 6 or 8 weeks asking why they are not losing. It's very common especially for those with more entrenched obesity.

This! 💯 my RHR went up pretty high. Way out of my normal ranges, i knew from my research that it would go up some but im randomly hitting crazy numbers. I was hoping my body would adjust and it would come down some but that hasn't happened. I am probably going back to tirz for this reason.

I am staying upwind for this conversation.

Just to confirm, what parts would one have to Manscape? Asking for a friend?
I can't speak for all women, but as long as I don't have to wade through a forest of hair, I don't really care. I also can't stand body hair (on myself) so I am pretty on top of that one too, though I can't manage my right underarm right now for reasons you and I both share, so that might be a problem when I can finally manage it. I got them waxed before my surgery though just as a buffer, and didn't think clearly about how I'd manage it down the line.

Okay I'm willing to award the Nobel prize to the dude who invents permanent exorcism of this infernal body hair.
It's already there, laser hair removal. It can be pricey and requires multiple sessions but it is available. Now if any of you big tough men shaving your legs and arms are brave enough you could use an epilator. The results last a couple weeks instead of a couple days. I refuse to life without mine.

This could be a placebo effect, but I'm less hungry too. I can't eat as much as I did yesterday. This could be because I have used GLP before in 2020-2022 when I was diabetic, or it could be due to the sleeve gastrectomy I had.
Yes I had a great reaction the first week, then less appetite suppression (same with my dad). The appetite suppression is less important for Reta. Really your focus should be on maintaining protein and less about calories for now. Slowly work your way up and when you start losing weight or have enough appetite suppression to help you lower calories then stop tirtating up. But there's using reta as Reta and then there's using reta like tirz for the appetite suppression. Using reta as reta means you get the 3rd agonist going which really kicks in at 4mg or higher.

Okay, I just jumped/woke up. I dont usually dream during sleep. But I had a vivid, hour long dream about diarrhea, woke u and got it in real life too. Immensely uncomfortable defecation later, [like lava was flowing through the bowels], I checked my weight. I am now 247lbs. Is this how Reta works? Forcing you to defecate your soul out?

Great, just great. Just what I wanted to hear.

Ha! Nice try. There is nothing and I mean absolutely nothing... that logically ties epilator use and courage. I just have this congenital allergy to pain.

Now, if that ain't peak-level hypocrisy, I dont know what is. You can't stand it yourself, but you give hope to men who are hirsutically challenged.

I learnt this the hard way at the most inopportune of times. Wearing a Fiitbit watch during a quickie is one thing, having it show 150bpm is quite another. Now it is showing resting rate at 81. It used to be 69.

Does that happen at low dosages also ?

I mean if they wanna be bald from top to bottom, sure, fine, but all I ask is that what you don't remove, you at least trim back so the bird isn't lost in a giant nest.

I usually get that delightful wakeup call about 18-24 hours after I do whatever pin I have that day--especially if there was any titration up. You and I were probably having the same good time at the same time, even, since I did two extra units of Reta and my first dose of Cagri on Wednesday evening. Yesterday I felt SO lightheaded which is super weird, never had that one before, wasn't starved or dehydrated. But it eventually did fade. I fully expected to have the trots all evening but nothing much happened. Until 2:43am. Yikes.

I am low dose, I started at 2mg. I was good for a few weeks, until it built up I guess. I got to 3 before it really started going sideways. Dropped the dose back down now waiting for the levels in my system to drop. Still getting random spikes of over 100 now. Yesterday me and the hubby went out, just walking from the car the theater kicked it up to 118.

Edited to add that last Saturday while shopping it went to 157, I was in rough shape. A rat hair from heading to the ER. Since then it's went up into the 120s several times.

Hey! I already had elevated heart rate with Reta. It just spiked again. I felt a tingling sensation crawling through my skin as I was reading that.

Geez! You too? What's going on here, some kinda horror-movie fest? Nobody told me that they're having Halloween on International Labor day.

My heart rate per my watch was barely elevated above normal, so I was surprised how lightheaded I felt. Id equate it almost to when my vestibular migraines kick up (I haven't had one in a WHILE) so I was in full panic that it was gonna be that, but it did fade after a few hours.

This is my week per the Apple Watch. Keep in mind I did absolutely nothing physical since the 157 spike. I’m talking wake up and lay around. I’ve attached my steps record to show that. I was trying not to do anything that would cause another spike like that as I’m waiting for the Reta levels to drop. You see that highest spike I didn’t even have 4000 steps all day that day and some of those were during and after the spike happened. I have done zero exercise this week, as I’m looking at the data and seeing just how much of the week my hr was well over the 100 mark I am going back to Tirz. Sorry Reta, it’s just not gonna work out for us.

Edit - Sorry the highest spike day was less than 2000 steps

😂😂 serious, the first and maybe the second time is miserable but after that it really isn't bad at all. I guess the roots just give up and accept their fate 🤷‍♀️ I do legs and pits, love the results.

Oh no, not that. I scorn and spurn alcohol because in spite of all the hassles in my body, there is one thing I'm happy about- the humongous guy resting between my ears.

for the first time in my life, I'm thankful, really grateful that I have a Y chromosome.

I reckon this must be what 💔💔💔💔 feels like.

I hate body hair too, but I hate having to shave even more. Such a chore. Damn the lengths a man has to go to procure adoration from those without a Y chromosome. As if stabbing oneself with several Chinese molecules wasn't enough, now I have to become a regular barber too? Man, fudge this feces.
In order of most frequently shaved to least, arms, chest, legs, back. I love how it looks and feels. I had to upgrade razors and invest in some shaving oil though.
OMG ! I can't believe this. I was seriously thinking I must be insane posting this.

But it's great to hear I'm not the only one 🙂

It aligns with my goals for the reta itself though too. As my body fat drops, the muscle definition increases, and the shaved skin shows it off so much better.

I can see my abs for the first time in my life! And I’m seeing striations in my pecs and delts - and my serratus are coming in 🥹

It's interesting how we would think something is unusual until your google it and see that it is common amongst users.

The first I want to do is apologize to Smiter for going off topic and hijacking the thread 😉

I left the forum and spent the last hour googling epilators. How can I be almost 65 and never heard of the devices. I guess my ex-wife was Asian; no hair.
I read Good House Keeping article and watch YouTube vids.

I have 2 in my Amazon cart. Both are returnable.
Philips Series 8000 (Best for beginners)

Braun Silk-epil 7 (#1 on every site and video)

Thank you SeaGypsy 🙂

I'm at 8mg and still NO appetite supression.

And yes, I was eager to get past 4mg for the Glucagon benefits !!

I've had some not so great side effects the first 2 months; but all WORTH it.

-Woke up around 3am a few times clenching my stomach in a fetal position
-The occasion light headed/dizzy spell
-Feeling extremely exhausted

They were all short-lived. And nothing in the last 2 months.

I’m sorry @Smiter
I will say the silk-epil are the best 👍🏻

That does it! So, it's Halloween and we're doing horror stories. Feeling exhausted- as if my slothfulness needed that additional enhancement.

It's all good, so my retatruding has changed into hair-intruding machines. C'est la vie

My lava-like colon has subsided.

At Christmas I could barely zip up my winter jacket; now I can fit two of me in there 🙂
