Day one

Adding on to this, so resting heart rate really needs a continuous monitor like a fitness watch to track and any rhr < 100 has no known downside with a causative link.

There is a known effect on rhr from every glp but because every study is different it's not great to compare between them, but it's safe to say most people on any glp1 will get a temporary rhr increase of 0-10bpm. This usually decreases over time.

Now there is another effect of instantaneous heart rate effect that is related to blood pressure. As your blood pressure goes down your heart rate will go up. This is a normal response until your body adjusts to the new blood pressure. This is likely a large portion of the increase rhr glp cause.

Reta seems to have a really strong suppression of blood pressure (to the point that many people have to come off any bp meds they are taking). And a very common reported side effect on Reta is orthostatic hypotension (getting light headed when you stand up quickly). This is a very short spike in low blood pressure and is accompanied with a an equal and opposite response in heart rate. So people feel like their heart is racing for a moment, but this isn't RHR and as long as you aren't passing out it isn't an issue. This also tends to fade over time as your body adjusts to the new blood pressure.
THIS! is what was happening with me, briefly, when I started tirzepatide. It lasted for probably the first week maybe a bit more. I already have fairly low bp (I'm a tall girl) and I had increased heart rate, but also felt light headed when getting up quickly. I worried about whether I could take it, but it cleared up so quickly, I forgot about it.

I love my Galaxy Watch for this. Also, whats the average increase while using GLP1's? I'm only tracking an increase of about 4bpm, but super low dose so 🤷‍♂️

It's slightly dose dependent but not linearly. You might get up to 6bpm if you're already at 4.

Most people see 5+-2. It typically peaks after ~6 months and comes back down a bit.

Week 6:

I decided to continue at 0.5mg again, I'm still seeing good progress, though the rate has slowed. I am totally okay with it, as it is a healthier rate of loss!

I'm having no problem staying in a defecit. I eat when I am hungry, and stop when I am full. I'm no longer part of the clean plate club! I have broken that childhood eating disorder that my parents caused. "Don't waste food! Eat all your food, you want to be big and strong!" 🙄

I haven't been to the gym in about a week and a half, as i was going with my brother and he hurt himself. So I am not seeing any increase in muscle mass, but also not losing any. I am hoping to get back to the gym this week.

Down 2.8lbs this week, averaging 1300cal/day. Still feeling great every day. Getting much more restful sleep, have plenty of energy throughout the day. I am expecting to receive KLOW80, CJC-1295/IPA 5/5, and RT10 in the next week or so. I'm interested to see how the new peps affect my daily life.
