Day one

Adding on to this, so resting heart rate really needs a continuous monitor like a fitness watch to track and any rhr < 100 has no known downside with a causative link.

There is a known effect on rhr from every glp but because every study is different it's not great to compare between them, but it's safe to say most people on any glp1 will get a temporary rhr increase of 0-10bpm. This usually decreases over time.

Now there is another effect of instantaneous heart rate effect that is related to blood pressure. As your blood pressure goes down your heart rate will go up. This is a normal response until your body adjusts to the new blood pressure. This is likely a large portion of the increase rhr glp cause.

Reta seems to have a really strong suppression of blood pressure (to the point that many people have to come off any bp meds they are taking). And a very common reported side effect on Reta is orthostatic hypotension (getting light headed when you stand up quickly). This is a very short spike in low blood pressure and is accompanied with a an equal and opposite response in heart rate. So people feel like their heart is racing for a moment, but this isn't RHR and as long as you aren't passing out it isn't an issue. This also tends to fade over time as your body adjusts to the new blood pressure.
THIS! is what was happening with me, briefly, when I started tirzepatide. It lasted for probably the first week maybe a bit more. I already have fairly low bp (I'm a tall girl) and I had increased heart rate, but also felt light headed when getting up quickly. I worried about whether I could take it, but it cleared up so quickly, I forgot about it.

I love my Galaxy Watch for this. Also, whats the average increase while using GLP1's? I'm only tracking an increase of about 4bpm, but super low dose so 🤷‍♂️

It's slightly dose dependent but not linearly. You might get up to 6bpm if you're already at 4.

Most people see 5+-2. It typically peaks after ~6 months and comes back down a bit.

Week 6:

I decided to continue at 0.5mg again, I'm still seeing good progress, though the rate has slowed. I am totally okay with it, as it is a healthier rate of loss!

I'm having no problem staying in a defecit. I eat when I am hungry, and stop when I am full. I'm no longer part of the clean plate club! I have broken that childhood eating disorder that my parents caused. "Don't waste food! Eat all your food, you want to be big and strong!" 🙄

I haven't been to the gym in about a week and a half, as i was going with my brother and he hurt himself. So I am not seeing any increase in muscle mass, but also not losing any. I am hoping to get back to the gym this week.

Down 2.8lbs this week, averaging 1300cal/day. Still feeling great every day. Getting much more restful sleep, have plenty of energy throughout the day. I am expecting to receive KLOW80, CJC-1295/IPA 5/5, and RT10 in the next week or so. I'm interested to see how the new peps affect my daily life.

Week seven:

Week six made me decide to titrate up. I am now at 1.0mg. My lowest recorded weight was 271.4, but came back up to 271.8. I forgot to weigh yesterday, but my tracker is as of this morning.

This entire process I have made sure to always eat when I am hungry. I'm not going to restrict myself and suffer silently, I'm going to eat, but track it for information purposes. I won't limit serving sizes, and if I finish a plate and I'm still hungry, I get more. I feel like if I didn't follow this behavior, I'd end up totally failing/binging/or giving up, or all three.

While I still lost a couple pounds this week, I was trending a lot higher in my calorie intake and gained a bit back.

First impressions after my dose last night, I've only eaten once today at about 600 calories and its been around 8 hours since then. I'm currently unable to find an appetite, nor do I feel hungry, so I will likely be forcing something into my face later as to not perish.

On a side note, I've added KLOW80, CP10, and Melanotan2 10mg to my stack. And started a pretty hefty vitamin and mineral stack as well. I'm feeling pretty damn good overall. A lot more energy, not needing as much sleep. My chronic knee and ankle pain has subsided (severed ACL, bucket handle tear in meniscus both on left knee, two ruptured ligaments in left ankle, all injuries range from 5-12 years old) and my acute shoulder injury is feeling less crunchy and gross.

Gym milestone:
Did legs yesterday and was able to rep my previous sessions failure weight on leg press. Previously failed at 3 reps at 478lbs, pushed out 2 sets of 10 last night. So definitely gaining muscle!

I've started using Samsung Health's medication tracker and it is pretty damn nice. I'd recommend it any day.

Keep in mind that Melanotan is a strong appetite suppressant.

Since you've started CJC/Ipa are you monitoring your igf-1 levels with blood work? Also, many people put on a little water weight with GH secretogues. It's not a bad thing but something to be aware of while tracking your fat loss.

As far as MT2, today will be day 7 of 0.5mg/day and I will be moving to 0.5mg twice per week for maintenance. I am currently not feeling much appetite suppressant difference.

I am scheduling a lab visit in the next week or so, how frequently would you suggest getting labs done moving forward? That also may explain the plateau/gain over the last few days.

Ideally check IGF1, A1c, insulin, and glucose levels before you start cjc/ipa then again at 6 weeks. If the levels are where you want them, then only need to check every few months as long as dose is the same. Do you know what levels you're shooting for? Do you know the common side effects to watch for?
