If you have a few months supply, you should be fine. The tariffs are such a ridiculously bad idea that they'll bring about a recession if not quickly reversed. The tariffs will end either before or shortly after the recession hits.

chmuse, maybe you can arrange with @exploitedworkerbee for a locked no-comment new thread and you can rewrite and edit it to your heart's content. The we can all refer to it in our signatures and our kind but stern snappy answers to stupid questions.
