If you wanted to do this just make the post and let me know. I’ll pin it and lock it. If anyone makes comments before i lock it I can remove them.

Then, when you want to make revisions, just post a new one and I’ll pin and lock that, and nuke the old one.

chmuse, maybe you can arrange with @exploitedworkerbee for a locked no-comment new thread and you can rewrite and edit it to your heart's content. The we can all refer to it in our signatures and our kind but stern snappy answers to stupid questions.

Agreed. Being OCD is a bad quality in an editor. The resulting product still has to sound like the original writer.
