For the record neither myself nor any mod ever told Dionysos that he couldn't post/link his list on this forum.
As best as I can tell, his feelings were hurt after I mentioned in another post that folks shouldn't rely on
any "list" as authoritative or reliable and should perform their own due diligence regarding any supplier or vendor. I can't take responsibility for other people's feelings, but I apologize for any feelings I may have hurt because as anyone can tell by everything I do here my ultimate desire is to foster an environment where people can educate themselves and each other, as well as give everyone the ability to recognize how to avoid dangerous situations whether it be unsafe products or dishonest vendors and while I often take a "tough love" approach to many of the things I post, I would never intentionally try to hurt someone's feelings.
There have been dozens if not hundreds of "lists" created by seemingly well-meaning people over the past several years, and unfortunately there is a discernable pattern of flaws with the vast majority of them. Whether they are flawed by including known scammers/dishonest sellers who provide bogus or altered test results, bad or questionable product
(often with a "positive" rating or recommendation), or because the author(s) lack the knowledge and experience to be able to recognize problematic vendors with a negative or questionable history, or - sadly - because some lists are assembled by people with a financial interest or other incentive (free/discounted products, affiliate bonuses, etc.), it's simply best to embrace the reality that you can never trust a list to do your work for you.
(To see a perfect example of an intentionally dishonest list, take a look at the one posted in the photo HERE and you'll see the mention of "Royal Peptides". What conveniently is NOT mentioned is that "Royal" is just another in a string of re-brands cooked up by the owner of Cantides, who is currently on something like name revision 7.2 to run from their bad reputation. Her Royal Dishonestness created a "list" under the guise of an alt ("alternate identity") to appear as if they were a kind and generous person simply trying to be helpful with their list when clearly the ulterior motive was to steer unsuspecting victims towards this weeks' new brand in order to rip them off with untested kits that she openly buys from random internet strangers to fill orders.)
To be clear: I am not saying that Dionysos' list is/was any of these things, but after two different vendors messaged me inquiring how they could be added to the list it became quite evident that it was important to raise awareness that it's best to view any lists with a significant dose of healthy skepticism since there's no way to know the true motivations of the creator(s).
Even if a list is free from all financial or self-interest, it will still be flawed since there is no way to account for every single vendor or every single customer experience - never mind the experience or lack thereof of the author(s) - and at best only serve as one of many tools in the toolbox of proper vendor/supplier vetting.
Self-injecting mystery powder is serious business, and people need to take a step back and think long and hard about what they're doing and who they're trusting when embarking on this journey. Relying on the advice/opinion of any one person or resource (
including ME) to make those kind of decisions is foolish and dangerous! Stay safe out there, be smart, take things slowly, and do your own testing or get involved with crowdfunded testing!
