Are you guys facing fatigue or tiredness while on Reta?

I am thinking of starting Reta but wanted to check if fatigue is pretty bad. I know that when I took mounjaro i had pretty bad fatigue.

Albeit on a small dose I actually feel like I have the opposite especially when training. The other half started and is feeling more fatigue however that could probably be as much the kids as the Reta

Yes, I upped my dose quickly and felt quite a bit of fatigue that first week. Now that my dose is lower, the fatigue is minimal.

I have not had any issues with fatigue on Reta, neither has my wife. We both started at 2mg, and both are at 5mg. We dose twice weekly, not sure if that helps. But we also have done cycles of SS-31, MOTS-C and have been using NAD+ 3-4 times per week.

I'm actually flying on Reta right now. Got the feeling that Semax, I started to cycle a week ago, boosted my energy levels even more...think it all depends on the individual circumstances. I'm not obese, just slightly overweighted, so it might be the reason, my body reacts on Reta this way.

Not really. I'm tired at the end of my day. Sleep has been not great, but I'm getting it. Dome days better than others. I get up about 5 and lay down around 8 and maybe watch TV for a few minutes. I was bad a month or so. Then started drinking Liquid IV, mixed in two Gatorade bottles. I do one a day. It's helped, but watch the sodium in those. That's why I only do half a packet a day.

For me, it’s mostly a lack of motivation with an ability to sleep. When it happens, It’s bad for work and working out.
I started at 2mg and I'm at 4mg now. Lack of motivation is real. I do manage to get my steps in daily but I have a major tendency to procrastinate the shit out of the gym.

I had initial fatigue when I first started, but I realized that I was barely eating and drinking water when I got super busy. Once I came up on my calories again and was more mindful about water I was feeling better with energy and it ended up helping with my sleep too. I think the tiredness in general comes with the calorie deficit, but I feel significantly better on the same deficit while on reta vs without.

I started 8 weeks ago, and I started to get some fatigue during week 3 and 4, the day after I would pin myself, but then that's about it. Nothing too major from reta. Now the only fatigue I get is because of the calorie deficit, but I have just realized that even on the calorie deficit, carbohydrates intake is the key to preventing fatigue.

I experienced it the first few weeks of starting my dose. What I found helpful and gave me deep sleep was taking magnesium supplements. Also to eliminate nausea/headaches you have to be well hydrated so you have to ensure you drink plenty of water. I also take electrolytes during my workouts to stay hydrated.

Yeah it happened to me in the beginning. I mean it makes sense since i drastically changed my food habits and intake quickly. It lasted a few months while i was loosing a lot of weight but eventually subsided. It goes away just stick with it and eat enough protein.

I’m in my first week on reta, and the fatigue hit me hard. The difference was really obvious to me. I can barely lift the weights I normally use at the gym. It doesn’t really bother me, but I definitely feel physically exhausted.

Yep I am completely exhausted. Only on starting dose and have no energy. It feels like the weight is coming off and I am barely hungry. How are you coping with your fatigue at the moment ? Have you tried any vitamins?

I get very fatigued in the window of +12hrs > 24hrs of taking a dose. Super tired, brain fog and etc. It wears off fairly soon, but it seems to be fairly consistent for the time being for me.

Hard to say, i am always tired (pre and post reta)
To the extent reta is negatively impacting sleep it would make sense to lead to fatigue or feeling more tired

100% - bad fatigue and anhedonia on all the GLPs for me. I feel soooo much better now that I'm on just a 1mg/week maintenance dose. Didn't realize how bad the GLPs were making me feel until I went on the maintenance dosage.

I get fatigue (and nausea) for about 1-2 days post-shot, and more intensely when I'm increasing the dosage. So I changed my shot day so that my more intense workouts/sports happen further away.

Definitely so freaking tired, especially for a couple of days after shot day. I am on 2.5mg weekly and my husband is on 4mg and reports the same. I combat it with NAD+ for more immediate energy and Epitalon for sleep. You have to make sure you are getting enough food for energy (protein and carbs) not to mention make sure it is actual fatigue and not anhedonia which is also very much a reta side effect! But it wasn't like I was the energizer bunny before I was on it.

Would love some tips on how to combat fatigue. I'm on 4mg a week and it hits me within the first 24 hours of pinning. Have a feeling it's because of appetite suppression and I'm not eating enough calories.

This is a helpful thread for me. I've been microdosing Reta (2.5 mgs every 4 days) since March, added 1mg Tesa daily a couple of weeks ago and Glow 5 times a week. I shed weight really quickly losing 30 lbs in three months, continued resistance training 3 times a week, and seemed to have inexhaustible stores of energy and motivation... until about a week ago when both began to plummet. Ugh. Now I seem to drag myself around and feel far less motivation to be productive, and feel a certain brain fog. And constipation! Fortunately, I don't think anhedonia is the issue cuz libido is intact (thanks be to gawd). Some of the advice above suggests the calorie deficit and lack of hydration may be the cause of fatigue which makes sense so I'll turn my attention to those factors, and perhaps add some carbs and fibre. Are there other suggestions from our GLP1forum hive-mind? Is there a peptide solution as well? I was really enjoying my period of high energy and motivation and would like them to climb back up again! TIA everyone.

Fiber and electrolytes might help. They definitely won't hurt!

23F, i already got 2 doses of reta, 0.5 and 1mg each week, and i had no idea this was a thing until a few days ago when i saw this thread. I’m not sure if it’s extreme fatigue but yea not even a few espressos could help me, I’d still have the brain fog and feel like resting a bit. I got my second shot last saturday and today (friday) I finally feel with more energy😅. At least i’ve had no issues with sleeping at night and constipation, a win is a win lol

i'm on 0,5mg (first shot monday, will go up by 0,5 every week if everything goes well) and had also trouble sleeping the first night. didnt take long to sleep but woke up twice and could not get back to sleep - very uncommon for me.

I can't figure it out. Meaning Reta as a whole. Fortunately i've been able to sleep-in a bit which offsets my inability to fall asleep. Prior to titration I reported great energy and motivation. I'm only at 4mg/wk and cannot be more unmotivated in the morning. If I don't get a run or hit the gym, i'll stay in this funk all day!

I'm sure the caloric deficit doesn't help but jeez, it's got me looking to other peps for answers. I still don't regret this pep, just wish I felt as good as i'm beginning to look. lol

Fatigue happens. Take your vitamins, eat four meals a day, exercise when you can.
