I have never used any other peptides before, and started with a dose of 2mg. I have lost 1,5Kg, is this realistic or mostly just water?
Also I noticed that after the injection, my mind calms down, similar to how you feel after meditating. Also I didn't sleep a lot, because I felt quite awake at night, and noticed moderate appetite suppression.

I didn't notice any other side effects so far. I'm unsure if I should stay on Reta due to the heart safety signal, any opinions?

Assuming you’re overweight, 1.5kg is realistic and likely mainly water, some due to Reta, some due to the thought of Reta.

It’s unlikely you ran a ~10k calorie deficit in your first 7 days only due to Reta.

What heart safety signal?

That's fantastic work for your first week, but I wouldn't expect losses of that level to continue, there will be a lot of water weight lost there for sure, keep doing what you're doing, track your calories, exercise and it'll keep coming off.

Don't get disheartened if you don't lose weight every week either, and don't weigh yourself every day, it's a marathon, not a sprint.

If you're starting out there may be some anxiety, or concerns regarding your heart . Perhaps best to have shots in the morning before you start the day . As I read some other wise words on this forum, taking them before bed , is something goes wrong you may not wake up.

Taking in the morning helps me sleep better .YMMV , we are all unique.

Its probably fine for most people, I just wondered if this had been discussed on this forum already.
I assumed that’s what it was, figured it was a language difference but didn’t want to lead the witness.

Reta seems to increase the load on the heart, which makes sense to me considering it increases the base metabolic rate, there’s no free lunch.

I don’t have heart problems, the relatively slight increase of cardio load weighed to be entirely offset by the cardio improvements from weight loss and exercise. Situations change, but that’s where I am now.

All my edema resolved in my first week on Reta, and I have only seen improvements cardiac/cardio wise. In fact, I used to get a pounding heart every night when I got in bed. That has completely resolved.

Which app is that 3rd screenshot from?

I wouldn't look too much in the weight loss or side effects until after the 4th week. Then you'll know what you got and if you need to titrate up or down. A long as you're losing weight, don't go up until you start to plateau. It's not a race.

There is a viewpoint that you could escalate reta dosage to get in the gcgr signaling range for the metabolic and lean mass preservation benefits over Tirz. I prescribed to that idea with my transition from tirz to reta. Appetite control and noise suppression isn’t a problem for me on reta.

What a great heart rate you have. My RHR is usually between 70-80, sometimes kicks up to 100 for no reason. Freaks me out.

Third week has passed. Weight loss is consistent so far. Measurement taken on Monday, same day of injection. The 99Kg is therefore the before-reta weight.

Week 1 (starting weight)Week 2Week 3
99 kg97,5 kg96 kg
-1,5kg-1,5kg

I've been on Reta almost 4 mos and only taking 3mg and I've noticed my resting HR has increased a little bit from 59-62 to 62-66. And it def affects my sleep especially when I increase the dose.

How exactly does it manifest? I'm not yet sure if there is a change for me (2mg currently).
I sometimes feel almost shaky inside for a few minutes and I also wake up between 2-3am every night after a dose increase.

Have you lost much weight in 4 months?
