So sorry.. that sucks. My son is playing D2 in the South. He is a freshman.Very cool. One of my sons got a D-2 scholly to play lacrosse in the mid-Atlantic area, but the COVID pandemic rained on that parade.

Clever! I learn something new every day. Tobacco farms were very prevalent in CT and there are still many. Perhaps some of your ligero leaves come from here. It made me sad when a huge tobacco field, along with the accompanying distinctive barns, where razed and replaced by an humongous Amazon complex.I am an avid cigar smoker. Probably average 20+ cigars per week. Locally, I am known as the cigar Don (godfather). Ligero is a type of cigar leaf (the strongest of cigar leaves). So naturally put that together as Don Ligero. 🙂
So actually, one of the more prominent tobaccos for cigars is called Connecticut shade. Where ligero is the top leaves that get the most sun which makes them really strong, CT shade is actually grown in the shade (mesh above it). Less sun, makes for a milder, sweeter tobacco leaf. (useless stats for the day). 🙂Clever! I learn something new every day. Tobacco farms were very prevalent in CT and there are still many. Perhaps some of your ligero leaves come from here. Not at ALL useless! The man who raised me grew up a tobacco farmer in Tennessee. Visits to Grandpa's tobacco fields and the drying/smoking sheds were a beloved feature of my childhood.... I drive by tobacco fields all the time. Some are grown in the shade and some are not. I have friends whose older siblings grew up working those fields. I think that is no longer the case as most of the youth of today are not enticed by back-breaking labor under the sun for low pay.So actually, one of the more prominent tobaccos for cigars is called Connecticut shade. Hmmm…this would include my age bracket but I don’t recall it. Maybe it’s because of my age.🤣 I’ll have to google it.It aired in the late 70’s and early 80’s as well. Lol. I’m not that old yet. 🤣
It reminds me of something for sure but haven’t put my finger on it yet.Am I the only one that sees zippitys name, John Candy pic, and thinks of the movie Splash?
Confession…I just googled it. I’ve never watched Big Bang Theory so I didn’t know what your name meant.😂Who does not like Sheldor? 😂
That’s it!! Thanks for solving the mystery. I knew it looked familiar.😂😂@SassyPants

And here's me over here thinkin' you'd go as Walter White...I was on a cruise last week and saw someone dressed as Mrs. Roper for 70s night. I thought…ha! I’m doing that my next cruise.😂😂

What a great thread! I’ve read most but not all yet. I often wonder why someone chooses a particular username that’s unique.
As for my username, I was on Reddit a lot at the start of my journey that led me here. I remember a moderator on the Mounjaro subreddit had the username of Weezer Jefferson, and I loved it. So when I joined this forum and another, I chose another character from 70s television…Mrs. Roper from Three’s Company.
