Freezers?

there isn’t concern with the FDA shutdown on compounding that there will be some kind of crackdown?
The crackdown would come from the DEA which would require making peps scheduled, or from customs. Customs may have a crackdown but I'm betting on Chinese sellers continuing in that event with domestic warehouses. There would be time to see it coming before peps run out.

Crackdown hasn't stopped Chinese fentanyl from being produced or imported through the mail system.

And let's face it... peptides aren't killing people. Harm from peptides generally extends to the occasional forehead slapping case of an overdose. Which results in stomach flu-like symptoms.

If any squeeze was going to be put on, it'd be from political pressure from big pharma. Which, again, is going to be a tough sell. If people were routinely being injured from peptides, it would be a different story.

It's all about the money. Eli is probably not losing enough $$ right now to even care to try and stop it. If enough of us poor people jump on the peptide bandwagon it wouldn't shock me to see them give it a go. Then it will depend on which and how many senators and reps they've bought with all those $gazillions$. I don't think there will ever be enough people willing to constitute and inject something made in a shady Chinese lab to put peptides on the Lilly greedometer radar. At least I hope not.

I don't think it's gonna happen either, they make a lot of money right now, like crazy margin and everybody in the chain takes their cut.

As if harm was the only consideration the DEA ever had for what it schedules in what category. I would not be shocked to see it scheduled, if only because it benefits those who make the stuff and my RS doesn't really wanna risk jail time to not be fat 😅

-80 C freezers are not that expensive. I got a used ULT25NEU for about $400 on Ebay. It was not in best cosmetic shape, but easily got to -86 C. Not bad considering it is what you would pay for purity + sterility test.

You're lucky to have one at that price, I searched on a couple of occasions and I couldn't find anything under 1000$

I was about to say, $400 and I order it tonight :ROFLMAO: Definitely report back if you manage to find one sub $500. I strive to be an advanced hoarder

For anyone interested, the best freezer i found on amazon is this: https://a.co/d/8hQaU3N
Even though the title says it only goes to -4 it looks like its wrong, if you go down to the description it states it will go down to -40c. It also is available from this walmart link: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Northair...r-Chest-14-to-40/1314859596?classType=VARIANT , even though its a different "brand" its the same thing. I ended up just purchasing a ult25neu lab freezer that goes to -86c for 700 bucks shipped on ebay, so if you want to spend a little more then ebay is a good place to look

The ult25neu is a very cool, freezer! Most of the prices I am seeing on eBay are over $1k, did you offer $700 to the seller that has a bunch of them? I bought a $200 1.1 cuft freezer that gets down to -22 but the one you found is MUCH better.

This was an auction that was listed for 500 dollars plus 150 dollar shipping charge, i bid on it on the last 30 seconds left and got it. After taxes and all it ended up being 700 bucks. If you are going to buy one just triple check that they say its in good working order, there are a lot of vendors that say their freezer only goes up to -70c which is most likely saying that their freezer is probably on the way out, according to sterling a ult25neu should go from 25c to -86c empty in around 4 hours, i low balled the hell out of this seller: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1867097121...Dumg4pfTU2&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
He sent me an offer for 600 dollars, but if you see the post it says -70c so when i asked him about it he says he had it on for over 12 hours and would not go below -70c so i declined purchasing it. Try to low ball the ones that are good condition, they typically do not see a big volume of sales so they are going to be more willing to get rid of them for a lower price.

One thing to know about ULT25NEU is that it is not quiet. It sounds like a window AC unit. I have an equipment utility room where I keep mine, so I don't hear it, but you probably don't want that thing in your bedroom.

Good to know, ill probably keep it in another room, as far as reliability how has your unit held up?

Mine was manufactured in early 2021, but I've only had it for a month, so it safe to assume it hasn't broken down in 3 years. I think as long as you clean the filter monthly, there is not much to break there. I have mine on a UPS to avoid power surges and outages.

Thanks for the additional info an guidance.

Has anyone purchased that northair chest freezer from the Amazon link? Seems like a good deal if it maintains temperature and isn’t overly noisy

I have had this as my peptide freezer for a few years and can't recommend it more highly: Amazon link

It is a small manual defrost freezer, so no auto defrost mode causing temp fluctuations. I keep a bluetooth temp monitor in there so know it stays a consistent -23c. Honeywell is a legit brand.
