Freezers?

More Options While I Do My Online Shopping:

This isn't a freezer but a mini pep fridge and I'm kind of in love with it

This is a freezer/fridge combo and I absolutely love it seems like it might be just big enough for a normal pep stash. Worth noting that it's not a deep freezer though.

Another freezer/fridge combo. Top down. Gets a little colder than the last one:

I haven't looked at them all, but I discovered that if you look for insulin freezers and fridges you get a lot more options.

Note that this one needs a transformer to run off 110v AC.

My freezer came with the transformer. Have it placed in it's long term location. I am waiting for 24 hrs since moving before powering it up.
Once you get it fired up and you let us know if it is very loud? Like, could you keep it in a room that is regularly used?

the freezer is about as loud as a microwave oven fan. Once it reaches a stable temperature, the compressor runs a few minutes an hour. So far, it is working well. That is my long term storage. less than a few months is in the garage freezer and the currently reconstituted vial is in the garage refrigerator.

Nice! I'm currently satisfied storing at -22C in my little Amazon freezer.

It is loaded with peps I might not even use, mostly Tirz 30 kits and it seems I am switching to Reta.

Who am I kidding, I will probably join the sub 70C club at some point.

Just received the new freezer today (the 3.5 cu/ft that goes down to -40) and will be sure to write up a little review for those that care. So far, it has a "skin" evaporator and the fan in the bottom is only for cooling the compressor. Runs on R290 aka propane as a refrigerant which makes sense given the temperatures it operates at.

I am strongly considering replacing the fan with something quieter since it uses an off the shelf 120mm "pc" fan for cooling.

time for a noctua mod

Whelp, I tried to get my hands on this freezer because it seems big enough to accommodate a "normal" pep stash, but shipping is ridiculous right now. Apparently everyone is rushing orders to avoid Trump tariffs so everything is expensive. https://m.alibaba.com/x/x9fa0ve?ck=pdp

Going to wait until things stabilize.

You guys had good price before? Got quoted 350$ of shipping to send a 500$ box weighting about 50lb by BOAT to Canada, that was 60 days shipping. That was literally the cheapest options and I had to try a couple of vendors in order to get it 😂

That's crazy. Maybe I'm just spoiled.

I've purchased other things from Alibaba in the past and I never had to pay that much for a sample.

I did see some larger cryogenic freezers ($600) with shipping for $95 so some companies seem to have figured it out.

Aaah be careful with the amount showing up, the suggested shipping implies that you actually go pick it up yourself at the port, no joke 🤣

No, it would just take a really long time. It would come by boat and wouldn't arrive until mid February. Shipping can be cheap if you're willing to wait, but that wasn't even an option this time.

Well for me all the initial quote I got were delivered at my nearest port only, they had me pick it up. Door shipping was waaaay more expensive

I've talked to dozens at this point and they all first quote for shipping at my nearest port,so yeah it's shipped by boat and on top of that you have to go pick it up on a port lol
