I have read that GHKcu is really good for repair after surgeries
  • Collagen and elastin production (strengthens the new stomach wrap and hiatal closure)
  • Angiogenesis (better blood flow to the healing tissues)
  • Reduced inflammation and oxidative stress (helps calm post-surgical swelling and bloating)
  • Tissue remodeling (helps the repair heal with better quality and potentially less scar tissue)
In my case I just got done this Tuesday the Nissen Fundopllication due to very bad acid reflux the past three years, in my surgery the surgeon highlighted that I had very little visceral fat compared to other patients which I think it was bc I have been on HGH the past 2 months.

Do any of you have any insights with this peptides being used after surgery.

Glow I think would be more beneficial

I used KLOW for 8 weeks after surgery broken femur and road rash to calf. Dr was impressed with my recovery that I didn’t require a skin graft like he originally thought I would. I was 43/m at time of surgery but can say I’ve made more of a recovery than was medically expected at my age. I also was in good shape when accident happened so that didn’t hurt but muscle vanished quickly and hasn’t fully came back.

Goodluck on a fast recovery.

I'm just hit 30 days of KLOW and an extra 1mg of BPC-157 & TB-500 daily (I'm dropping the extra B & T tomorrow) for a shoulder surgery, Rotator cuff, Bicep tenodesis & Labrum repair. They said I'm 2 weeks ahead of where they thought I would be and hopefully could start strength training at 6 weeks, where it can be 8-12 usually. I'm male, in my mid 50's..

Hey friend, just HGH? I ask because of the visceral fat issue, since Retatrutide was the one that had the biggest effect on my visceral fat.

I'll suggest get klow. It has benefits but after a surgery I would rather amp up on bpc and tb500.

Certain compounds are needed in more quantity.

Despite everyone online saying GLOW and KLOW and the various peptides in them improve healing , there is no human or even animal studies of these peptide mixtures, and no human evidence for any of the individual peptides that they improve healing, if they have been tested in humans at all. Placebo effects and regression towards the mean are enough to explain peoples' experiences of them working. It may be that they do actually work but there is no evidence to support it. ( that is not anecdotal ) And given the varied and complex biological effects of those peptides there is never likely to be trials of KLOW or GLOW , as it would be considered way too dangerous and unpredictable to even consider human tests without a very large amount of research in animals first, and no one has done any studies in animals of these blends, as it is not thought to be a viable or worthwhile drug development target. ( if scientists really believed it worked as well as people online think it does, they would be testing it , it could be a goldmine )
HGH on the other hand probably does improve healing, but it is worth noting that no surgeons ever prescribe it to patients to use to improve healing after surgery. Presumably something to do with the risk to benefits of it.

That's a big reason for resistance training, the surplus of lean mass can be critical for recovery after surgery or other health issues that can make you immobile. I lost 10kg in a few months and I hardly had much fat, so it was mainly muscle loss. I never had more than 83kg in my life, so loosing 10kg is A LOT.

I have a Cartalax kit enroute and will try a round of it with limited expectations. I can keep you posted.

Cartalax peptide supports cartilage regeneration, joint mobility, connective tissue repair, and may help reduce inflammation and cellular aging.

also 200 mg of Test weekly and 2 mg of Reta, probably alltogether compounded

Yeah you are right, as I think we all are here to push a bit further the science, This is me using myself as rat lab and weighting the risks vs the possible anecdotes of the benefits.

I was not prescribed HGH, but I bought it in a pharmacy here in Mexico from Pfizer as I think its really easy to get scammed with this compound, its expensive but overall worth it.

I will be commenting on my experience and my discussions with my drs, that while they don't encourage the use of these compounds they understand the science and are really helpful.

I am feeling already a lot better than my dad when he had the same surgery years ago, I am really surprised so far with only the test and HGH.

I've been using Cartalax with PEG mgf and it's working better than wolverine and/or bpc!!!

Cartalax kit? I'm not finding them in all my price lists from the land of gray.. I need to look much more closely, apparently! Thanks for re-igniting my search- I'm on the hunt.

I am 9 weeks out today for that plus repair to the teres/lat/trap insertion points, and I've been eyeing this as well. My other one needs a repair too but maybe if I add this in I can buy more time....

Though I was more interested in it for the skincare and whatnot benefits than the healing. I JUST started PT like a week ago (on purpose due to the extent of the repair.)

I knew I'd find a kindred spirit at some point. I had 3 minor tears in my Rotator cuff, but I think you got me beat. I had to wait 10 days before PT eval, I can't imagine 8 weeks woo. I know my surgeon was really worried about protecting the bicep, as the biggest worry. My PT guy says my Range of motion is really good and 3 weeks ahead of where he thought I would be. My almost 6 week follow-up x-ray is tomorrow. My PT guy thought I could start strength training the Rotator cuff now and maybe bicep, if the Surgeon approves. They said up to 12 weeks of PT, glad I'm off work for 12 weeks.

I have to get my left shoulder repaired as well, it's in worse shape than the right one. But we felt it being my dominant arm and the bicep anchor was way worse on this arm, we should do right one 1st. I definitely feel I'm starting to get dividends from the peps, taking lots of Collagen too. How long did they say for total time back to normal? Happy healing😉

You did find a kindred spirit! And happy healing to you as well!!! I am fighting with myself over just doing the GHK or doing a GLOW/KLOW stack instead. If it does any good to help me heal, on top of the skin benefits, it might be worth it.

So, he tells me 6 months to full recovery. Since this wasn't a standard repair, I was in the sling for the full 8 weeks which I knew about in advance, and the PT is restricted to ONLY range of motion front to back til at least 12 weeks out. I see him again in like 3 weeks (May 12th I think?), and then he will determine if it's healed enough internally to do more with that arm. His protocol for me right now allows NO strengthening on that arm or shoulder at all, heaviest I am supposed to hold in that hand is a bottle of water or can of soda, or my phone but my phone feels like a gazillion pounds in that hand so that's usually limited. The surgeon had to call the PT place the other day and tell them not to do half of what the keep telling me to do, because they want to follow their usual shoulder protocol and this isn't the usual repair. Moving back is going ok, moving forward is HILARIOUSLY bad. It is SO tight with all those anchor points. I am generally quite compliant with these things, but I am not going to do an exercise I was explicitly told not to do.

I have to keep my arm tucked to my body most of the time, and wear the sling in crowded situations or at the gym. I went there for the first time yesterday and that was interesting. I'd been doing some amended lower body stuff at home, just to do SOMETHING along the way, and while I was delighted I could get closer to my usual loads on most of the leg machines, on others I just didn't try or had to do some creative adjustment with positioning. When I confirmed I was able to do the hip thrust with one hand I almost cried, I know the hack squat is months away, as are barbell squats, but that one I was really missing. I only loaded about 1/3 of my usual weight though bec I didn't want to push it on my first time in like 9 weeks. Cardio I was allowed pretty much from the second day, though no bouncing or heavy sweating til the nerve block was out of my neck and the staples and stitches came out. I was allowed to jog as tolerated, walk, stepper, etc, as long as there's no pain and I can control the jostling, which I can if I make sure the arm is tucked in. I do swing when I walk a little more now, but not like I was before. The range forward is sooo bad.

My left thankfully is my less damaged, my right was reeeally bad and way overdue. I fully tore the rotator like 25 years ago, and at the time, that surgeon was like, you're young and it will likely regenerate itself in time if you do your pt exercises, but the worse tears were from catching myself on the bannisters when I slipped on the carpeted steps. Once I really got into lifting, it was driving me nuts. The last year or so I just had no function to the side. He was actually shocked I didn't detach the muscles entirely at the gym the morning before surgery because the bicep was barely hanging by a thread. I was really stupid doing that presurgery last ditch murder all the muscles thing because 1) that could've happened and that would've been like a 9 month recovery, and 2) I could barely get on the dang gurney my legs and core were so sore. 🫣🤣

Bro you are a beast, I'm just trying to get outta bed and get my socks on straight. I've been pushing doing more at home, I'm fairly happy where I'm at and my PT guy is too. My main concern is getting back to work functionally, so I can do my job. I had an MRI on my neck and back, when I was 2 weeks out from surgery (I do not recommend) So if I get the ok today from Surgeon, to lay flat on my stomach. I need to get an Ablation on my lower back and some Cortisone shots for my neck. I need surgery on the left elbow and wrist, I had asked about doing those with the left shoulder and it was a no go. I've had 2 surgeries with this left foot, my Achilees and Tibial tendon are giving me fits now and might need a 3rd. I hate the shitty sling they give you from surgery, bought a new one that works better to lock it down. I got the lawn mowed a couple times, glad I got electric self propelled. Still scraped it 5X as it was a foot tall in some ares. I paid a buddy from work, to walk my Husky for a month, but I refuse to hire a lawn service. Priorities right!

I don't think there is a loser in the bunch, wolverine, glow or klow. Just more money, go for the gold with Klow and there is a skin benefit to it. I'm thinking about staying on the higher dose of BPC & TB4 for a while, after doing more research. I know I gotta stop the TB4 at 12 weeks, but will stay on BPC for a while. I've been using CJC/IPA blend, for 5 weeks got 1 week left and gonna switch to Tesa/IPA. That might be worth pursuing on your part.

I am going to dig into that more but KLOW might be the way to go. I might get a single vial first though.

We both sound like orthopedic nightmares 🤣 I was back to work for half-days after two weeks, and worked back up to full days over about three weeks. I have a desk job though, so that wasn't too much of an issue. I also did some stuff remotely while I was still early because otherwise I'd have lost my mind. And I can't handle people trying to fill in for me because despite giving them instructions, they still do it wrong, instead of calling and asking for help.
I didn't try driving until last week though, and it went fine. I already drive left handed mostly anyway, it's just the annoying "can't get to anything on the passenger seat" situation.

I feel like an Azz! I just saw your 2 girls with green eyes. I knew right away it was Big trouble in little china, good freakin movie and always felt like Kurt Russell was under appreciated. (Snake Plissken wise) Then I saw your Avatar, soo cool. I'm telling you, my feet weren't far removed from where Thunder blew himself up, before I lost the 400lbs 😉

I'm starting to put my Ortho's grandkids through college after 13 operations😅 I'm on concrete 6-7 hours a day, 1/2 that standing in one place and walking the other half. It's like doing Origami 25-30 hours a week, hunched over a 4ft cart. Not doing my neck or back any flavors. I wish I had desk job (I'm not that smart) but I know being on my feet helps keep the weight off. I'm lucky I punch a time clock, I don't have to worry about anything till I get back to 12 weeks of emails 😬

Struggling with the weight regain, I upped to 4mg of Reta and planning to try and walk my Husky tomorrow. Just trying to be smart with this foot and work up to it. I'm out of the sling early, but no strength training till 5/1. Started driving about 1 1/2 weeks ago, no worries there. Only used 2/3 tank of gas in 6 weeks, so saving a couple bucks for now. I feel your passenger seat angst, wish I still had my F150 and then all my crap would fit in the center console😄

If you haven't tried the GHK-cu yet, it does have a bite to it and a single vial might be the way to go. It don't bug me, but I got a bunch of crap mixed in there and it's mostly blunted.

It is my absolute favorite movie. I have custom Lego minifigs, built LoPans domain and a Porkchop Express, have custom action figures … it’s the best. As kids, we would rewind Thunder blowing up like 100 times and just laugh out loud. My sister introduced it to my nephew a few weeks ago and he loved it bec all the “bad guys” died, unlike in Spaceballs where they just land on the beach in megamaids head. He said that ruined it for him 🤷‍♀️🤣 (I have minis, megamaid and the Eagle 5 in Lego form as well. This might be why I’m single, though I’m not really interested in looking either.)

Anywho, I think I might try KLOW, I am dancing around that one (and Cagri) in a single vial and may just get some to try.

Whoa! Okay, this thread sure was informative. Alright, I have a very similar situation. I have a torn rotator cuff and biceps tendinosis. The rotator is torn in 3 places, or it was when I had an MRI done last year. I wanted to avoid shoulder surgery at all costs. I had a sleeve gastrectomy done in 2022 and the weight loss made the rotator tears worse. I had horrible range of motion on my left shoulder. But anyway, in July 2025, I had stem cell treatment in India. I got around 60% range of motion in the joint, when it was around 40% before. Then, while in India, a week after the stem cell treatment, I used BPC-157 and TB-500 subq injections daily, both injected in the abdomen. It didn't do much, except increase ROM of the left shoulder joint to around 65%. It did nothing for the biceps tendinosis pain.
Now last Feb, I began hitting the gym regularly, and my left arm was practically useless. Starting from April 11th of this year, I hit the lower front delt of the left shoulder with BPC-157, and used TB-500 as usual in the stomach. I have had 5 injections of BPC-157 so far and three injections of TB-500.
At the beginning of April, I struggled to do a bicep curl with 70lb barbells. Today, I have my range of motion on the left shoulder at around 90%. Oh and I did 6 reps of biceps curl on a 100lb barbell, and 2 reps on the 110lb barbell. My biceps tendinosis pain has reduced.
I am consuming collagen peptides as well.

OMGarsh, those are Awesome! That's a pretty good Pork Chop Express, those guys are on pointe love the detail and Kurt needs a shave. Damn, that looks like Rick Moranis too. I'm feeling old meow, I remember John Candy & Joan Rivers. They just happen to be sitting out for pics right😉

I got my sister to try some KLOW, but that copper stung too much for her. I do have her on the BPC/TB4 mix, she just had a Neck fusion 2 weeks ago. Fun times 💀

Sounds like you've been staying after it, good to hear someone is having luck with Stem cells. It's always fascinated me a bit, did they use your cells or others? I almost went to Mexico for my WLS and later plastics. But I had a Dr mention if you have a problem, who do you follow up with? So I stayed stateside and I'm so broke, I can't afford to pay attention😀

The BPC/TB sounds like its working well for you, I've done a couple courses of that in rehab for my shoulders and it did help me with pain, range of motion and fatigue but never really healed it. It just got worse and had to have surgery and need the other done as well. Could be Stem cells or PRP could be helpful, but surgery for me as I need the fix and someone else to pay the bills.

How much weight did you lose with the VSG?

The stem cells were from my fat cells. With the sleeve gastrectomy, I went down from 140 kg to 102. That's around 80lbs then I was forced to take the Covid shot. 40lbs gained after that. Lost 12lbs since then. I paid around 2000 dollars for the stem cell treatment.

Well that is a wild commonality! One of my PTs mentioned the stem cell therapy but finding someone locally that can do that is near impossible and those who do are not on my insurance, which would really be needed to cover the amount of that stuff.

I did not have any further issue with the shoulders in relation to the sleeve, that was really just from falling hard with bad catches, and also working out enough over the years to continue making it worse.

The KLOW thing is more of a "I want the skin benefits from that" vs the rest of it, the repair quality in addition was what was like ok maybe that over GLOW.

I almost went to Mexico for my WLS and later plastics. But I had a Dr mention if you have a problem, who do you follow up with? So I stayed stateside and I'm so broke, I can't afford to pay attention😀
My insurance covers WLS if you meet the comorbidities, but not GLPs unless youre diabetic and tried literally every option available first. WLS was required for me to get my back fixed though, and I wish I'd done it when I originally looked into it several years prior. Unfortunately, skin removal is not covered for any reason at all, so I'd have to cash pay or go overseas and if there are complications, my insurance would not cover those because I did cash pay or went overseas. My stomach is where most of it is, and it's not tremendously awful, but I do wear compression to keep it locked down. Unfortunately that also smashes what little chest I have left lol

Fun times 💀
I took those photos when I got them, because I was SO EXCITED they were so perfect. I have a guy that has made all my good customs, and I am trying to not come up with any more "ideas."
