I know a lot of people haven’t received theirs yet but I’m hoping to find anyone who has received the recent GYC Reta 50 GB and started using it. I’ve been using Reta from other sources (Nexaph, SSA and QSC) for a long time. But what I am experiencing after trying this GYC Reta is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I can usually eat as much as I want. I never have delayed stomach emptying. I always feel hungry when it’s meal time. And I never have gastrointestinal issues or hiccups. But this Reta has messed me up bad. Nonstop hiccups for 4 days straight that started 24 hours after my injection. No hunger. Food feels backed up in my system. The source’s COAs from
Jano looked great. Overdosed if I remember correctly. But I feel like I took 10mg of Sema instead of Reta.

I might end up sending mine off for testing. I have a few friends who also purchased it but haven’t used it yet and now they are also concerned.

I would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has started using it.

Possibly significant overfill compounded by previous degradation which would exponentially widen the delta. . So many possible factors.
If you do not send it off, and those are your only symptoms, a gambling man might just reduce the dose to try and target the actual mg required....
All conjecture of course..

If they're Batch G2025031250, clear green cap/silver crimp, and you have the patience to wait out the process, there's a group-test of it forming

(I found it on Flying Purple Pep Guild's Telegram: https://t.me/+wLpJL2bMgkNhMTJh )
That’s the one. Clear green caps. I’ll wait it out. Well, I’ll switch to another source this week and wait it out.

Thanks for the tip. I joined that test group.

GYC terminology. 3rd GB 2025 (T30,T40,T60,R50, Glow)
The emphasis is on "borrowing terminology".

These vendors shouldn't be allowed to post the term "group buy" on their promo sales... there's no batch-level independent lab testing program, let alone an honest and reliable one; there's no negotiation for better pricing & policies; there's no advocate to (hopefully) get the vendor to make good for the whole group when things go bad.

How did this ever work out?
22 days straight hiccups. Multiple doctors appointments. 3 changes in medications. CT and Ultrasound scans of my brain, chest, and abdomen. ER visit. Gastroenterologist and neurologist appointments. Then on day 23 when the Gastroenterologist went to do my endoscopy my hiccups stopped completely. The endoscopy did find a hiatal hernia but he said it was too small to be the cause of the hiccups. He blamed the GLP and later said the hiccups stopped because the medication finally left my system completely.

It was a nightmare that finally ended.

Wow, what an ordeal for anyone, but especially for a veteran reta user. I never would have even imagined about something like this with reta.

Besides the huge mystery of the actual dosage, this also brings home to me that the longer half-life of the newer-generation GLPs is a double-edged sword. Sema is seven days, tirz is five, and reta is six. Of course, the older gen was a matter of hours:

Older Generation GLP-1 Receptor Agonists: Half-Lives and Dosing

ExenatideByetta2.4 hoursTwice daily
LixisenatideAdlyxin3 hoursOnce daily

Did any of the meds help at all? Was one of the meds Reglan (metoclopramide)?
They were usually pairing a muscle relaxer or nerve blocker with a gerd/heart burn medication. I tried Baclofen, Gabapentin, Chlorpromazine, Omeprazole, Pantoprazole and the one you mentioned, Metoclopramide.

Nothing helped. I would sometimes pair Gabapentin and Baclofen at night in high doses just to fall asleep with hiccups. Sometimes I’d wake up with hiccups. And they may be right about the GLP/GIP causing my hiccups. According to Shotsy the medication levels in my system had dropped below 2mg when the hiccups stopped. It took 3 weeks to clear out.

Wow, that is surreal, in a bad way. What dose of reta were you on before all this started? 12 mg?
I was on 8mg. But because that new kit from GYC was 50mg I increased to 10mg the morning before the hiccups started. After the hiccups started I joined a test group and we sent 3 vials to Jano. All three were around 58mg each. So in reality I took almost 12mg the day before my nightmare began. So maybe going from 8 to 12 caused the issues.

On second vial of same batch, no adverse reactions. Waited for test results, adjusted accordingly. Only expected symptom on upping dose was the sensitive skin for a few weeks; not near as bad the start of reta at 1mg months ago.
