Took 2nd dose yesterday. 2mg reta.
Any side effects? Are you having hunger suppression?
Took 2nd dose yesterday. 2mg reta.
I’ve had the same thing happen. I was very worried, but this is america, where we chance dying to not have to pay to see a dr, ambulance or the er.I guess I gotta admit my whoops somewhere. Might as well be here. Yesterday I didn't do my usual as far as food. Had a fairlife shake in the morning instead of my usual smoothie. Got busy and didn't have lunch. Had a salad for dinner but didn't finish it. Woke up this morning to phone calls so I drank coffee and didn't do a smoothie again. Before I know it, it's 2pm and I haven't eaten.
I got up from the couch/computer and almost passed out. Hands shaking, headache and dizzy. I'm sitting here now having a late smoothie and an electrolite drink. Lesson learned. I could do that before GLP1's and it didn't mess with me. I don't have as much in reserve as I used to so I have to eat and get nutrition.
I absolutely got my hand (and almost my head) smacked for being a dumbass
Oh dear women problems! My wife gets cold feet and she is not even doing the skinny shotsLOL my feet are cold too! I make hot/cold therapy bags that are filled with dry white rice. Throw it in the microwave for 1 minute and place it between my feet under the covers. I get uneasy falling asleep with a electric heating pad—so the heated rice bag is a win for me!
I lived in a duplex on Bay Street in Green Cove for two years 98/99! Loved going to the spring fed pool! Other than that, I've been in St. Augustine!Hi ladies, I'm 53 and rocking the hot flashes. I am currently on Tirz, NAD+ and oral minoxidil. Haven't been on long enough to feel any different yet, but already researching other peps to rotate in. Looking hard at the SNAP8, I may go ahead and pull the trigger on that. Tirz has me so fatigued, I may do a switch to Reta.
Loved reading your stories!
54 yr old full menopause since Nov 2020
Started full HRT 2024
Started Compound Tirz April 2025
Have used Sermorelin
Currently using Ipamorelin, KLOW, Glutathione,Tirz
I'm microdosing the Tirz at 1 mg once a week. I've hit my goal of 145 which is higher than any chart would tell you I should be at 5'3" but all through my late 30s, 40s, earlier 50s I weighed a muscular 140 and I know the 145 is a doable weight for me. I'm still on the 1 mg dose and will keep it there til maybe forever? I can definitely out eat this dose if I wanted to and can still drink with no ill effects, so I'm being conscious about my nutrition...really just getting back into everything I used to do. Limit the drinking (it ramped up a lot from 2020 to 2025), make my protein packed green smoothies every day, take my vitamins, quit with all the junk food and pizza nights, etc.
Due to an injury in 2019, I'd quit working out, then Covid and menopause and I got up to 170. Started doing gentle yoga and pilates in 2023 and am hoping to add regular weightlifing back in soon, but definitely dragging my heels as that's when the aches n pains come back.
I've always had loose skin genetically and my thigh skin is the worst. I'm planning to start DIY microneedling in Feb. to hopefully address it a bit. I'd love to graduate to DIY threads eventually. I've been on the KLOW for about 3 months now and not convinced I'm seeing that much of difference with anything...back pain, shoulder pain, skin were my reasons for starting. I'm going for another three months but disappointed so far.
The glutathione I've only been on two weeks. Started slow with 200mg 3x week/400 mg 3x week and week I'll do 600mg 2x a week and then hopefully do 1200mg once a week from there. Mainly hoping for the skin benefits, I have a lot of hyperpigmentation and rosacea.
The sermorelin was good, love the sleep. Switched to the Ipa just to see and love it too. The HRT had already helped with sleep but these guys are amazing.
NAD+, Selank, Semax, cerebrolysin are in my sights. I also had ADHD diagnosed after menopause and, in hindsight, can see it was there all along. Taking off label Wellbutrin for it rn.
Oooh been there, done that. I have a glucometer from my keto days. Felt really terrible after a couple days of work travel and crappy/minimal eating. Pulled that baby out and my glucose was 47 mg/dL. For those of you that don't know, that's dangerously low (normal = 90-110 mg/dL) I still don't eat breakfast but throw a protein/collagen scoop in my morning coffee and I've found that smooths out the blood sugar lows for me. Be careful out there!I’ve had the same thing happen. I was very worried, but this is america, where we chance dying to not have to pay to see a dr, ambulance or the er.
I felt like the Sermorelin was the perfect next pep after the GLP 1!Welcome! You might be my favorite lab rat so far. All the things you're trying that I'm too nervous to get into yet. I was wondering about sermorelin for sleep since mine has been so erratic lately.

Aloha, Excited to join the discussion here, turning 59 soon. I am officially one of you now and just did my second dose after a pretty successful first week. Very mild side effects so far but I am only doing 2.5mg this month. I had lost about 25 lbs the old fashioned way over the last year but it was painfully slow and I had been stalled for months.
There is a weightloss clinic in town that charges $400 a month for semaglutide but I just couldn't justify the cost and I wanted to try tirz. I went the compounding route which was less but still not ideal, lots of hoops to jump through and questionable telehealth businesses. I finally landed here and just loaded my freezer while I continue to learn more before starting to compound my own. I also want to finish out the compounded vial I already have. Slow and steady is my plan.
I split my time between Hawaii and California, so let me know if you ever need tips!
60-yrs-oldAs the title says I’m looking for input for other ladies over 50 who are on this pilgrimage (not a journey to me, that sounds too easy). I’m 59 and have been overweight since I hit puberty. Total hysterectomy at 44. No major health problems.

I started December 15th on sema. I’m making decent progress. I’m up to .5 on dose but thinking about switching to tirz. I ordered a 30mg kit a while back. Going back and forth on changing and maybe doing a small sema kicker on my 3rd or 4th day each week if I need it. I have been having more cravings on day 6 and 7 each week.
I’m having trouble getting motivated to exercise. This happens to me every winter. I know that’s what it is. If I get my butt up and go to the gym I always feel better but depression is a killer to motivation. I’m on this mission alone. Nobody around me with time is interested in going with me so I’m gonna have to find that motivation alone. I did get a recumbent bike and some free weights and I’m trying to do that every day.
I've got my nutrition under control I think. Trying to hit the protein goal everyday but sometimes I miss. Making sure to get fiber every day and so far that has kept me and the toliet in good standing. I try to drink enough everyday but some days I feel like I'm gonna float off. I'm not counting calories because all the fatty foods I usually love is kinda gross to me right now. Plus after doing the calculation to see how many calories I would need to eat to maintain my weight I know I'm probably at half that amount. If you haven't done that yet, look it up.
I’m worried about the sagging skin! I’ve had so many surgeries in the last decade (mostly ortho stuff - back, hands, arm). I just got out of debt from having my gallbladder out but I consider that win with the GLP-1s. I know I’m not going to be a young hottie but I hate the idea of having to tuck and compress loose skin for the rest of my life or get it cut off.
Just looking for feedback from other mature ladies. Suggestions? Experiences you’re having?
Well, for as great as my first week went, the last 24 hours have been rough. It's only 2 days since my last dose and I have been super nauseas while also being hungry. Not getting the same affects as last week at all. I know I am on starting with a low amount (2.5 tirz) but I expected it to be similar to last week. Any suggestions for the nausea?
Thank you for posting this. I’ve run MOTS-C several times but it was before I started using NAD and before I ever heard of SS-31.. this explains it well. Thank you!Read up on this (mitochondria protocol) since you've already ordered 2 of the 3 peptides involved. Many of us have already done it and I just started mine. The dosing schedule is on the first 2 pages and all the science that developed the protocol is included in the next 15 pages. I will fully admit that I didn't read all of if but I read enough to convince me that trying it has a good chance of helping me. Its a longish read so here is a Video of dude discussing the mitochondria protocol.
Another peptide suggestion for my fellow crones to research .. epitalon. I bought some of this and intend to take a round of it after I finish the mitochondria protocol.

I noticed something recently- I had to get labs for an upcoming endo visit and well.. I had been forgetting my thyroid med a LOT… and my levels are high NORMAL for the first time since diagnosis when I’ve been forgetting my meds. Looks like I either can stop it or take less- can’t wait to talk to my endo!Hello!!! I turned 53 in October. I have always worked out and was in pretty good shape. Lifting, spin classes, practicing and teaching yoga for years. Even with all that I was steadily gaining weight every year. When Covid hit it derailed my group fitness. I bought a spin bike and taught online yoga classes but the isolation got to me. I didn’t realize at the time I was in full menopause. Dark thoughts and all that fun.
In 2021 I ended up in the ER with high BP and began taking Lisinopril and a statin. In 2023 I had a semi breakdown one morning. Couldn’t remember my yoga pw at the studio that I had used for a decade. Was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and began levothyroxine. Had to quit teaching yoga at that time.
So really fun times. A guy who worked with my husband lost a lot of weight and told him about taking tirzepatide. I read everything I could and joined all the forums/reddits. We started in July 2024. I’ve lost over 90lbs which it seems crazy I had that much to lose tbh.
Been fully post menopausal since 2023. We just got our GHK-cu, Epithalon, and KPV today. I currently take 3.5mg tirz and just upped my Reta to 6mg. I could be at maintenance but kinda want to lose about 5 more lbs.
I am so thankful for these glps. My husband and I agree they saved our lives. I no longer take the lisinopril or the statin. My BP is great. I will probably have to be on my thyroid meds for life but I am ok with that. Taking HRT now and will never quit my glps.
Let me know how it works as a spray- I tried it as an injection and felt nothing. I was so disappointed!I have anxiety/adhd. Both are known to help. Everyone has their own reasons. Definitely do a search.
I always forget KLOW helps with gut health. Ihad IBS-D until I started GLPs, but recently was so depressed I skipped all my peptides for a few weeks (lost the last of my super senior pets traumatically and it affected me more than I realized) and have had a recurrence 2 days running- so I’m running back to my peptides (actually restarted last week). KLOW improved my skin a little, but I’ve used it for the back pain relief and hoping for skin effects. Gotta remember the total benefits! The NAD helps a lot with the fatigue and constipation that come along with Triz
KLOW helps with the aches and pains of aging but most importantly for me is gut health. No more sensitive stomach and drinking Pepto all weekend. The hair skin and nails perk is just amazing. I get lots of compliments.
I hope they work well for you!! 🥰
I pushed protein heavily and not only didn’t lose hair, it grew better than it has in the past 30 years. It was sort of easy, because my appetite suppression was so extreme I was making shakes w/coffee and unflavored protein powder 3x/day, so easily got the extra protein I needed. Maybe try adding a protein shake or 2 to increase your protein to help your hair and nails? Each scoop of protein is 25-30 grams of protein and I drank 2 or 3 scoops, 2 or 3x daily. I live alone, so I had no reason to make myself cook. You will definitely get there! I started at 148lbs and am now in the 121-122 range depending on the day. I’m 63 - it took me from last July until December-ish to lose the weight. Ran into major hair loss issues so I’m taking Nutrofol along with lots of vitamins that help promote hair growth, and running Klow for the past month or so. I finally think the hair shed has almost stopped and really hoping the growth kicks in quickly! I’m noticing my face looks brighter and better too. Best wishes to you!

I’m lucky to have leftover nausea meds from my previous doc who trusted me to use drugs responsibly and would prescribe my prns in 30 and 60 counts, but before him I used antacid chews and/or ginger or peppermint tea. Many times I can take a few tums and it stops my nausea, so I always try that first before using a script med. Ihave a strange issue where I will get nauseated out of the blue and if I don’t take a zofran I am going to get sick, but fortunately that has decreased with time so I have zofran around, but save it for the “hot spit” episodes.Well, for as great as my first week went, the last 24 hours have been rough.
