That's shitty of them, but I wouldn't hesitate to use it. Benzyl alcohol just doesn't go bad that quickly.

Hmm... I haven't received mine yet so I hopped over to their website to check my order. It says it was delivered last Thursday. Perhaps that means the date it was shipped. Well I didn't get it so I sent an inquiry.

FDA say that the vial could loose its vacuum, and allow bacteria to grow. I don't think predicting when it goes 'bad' is an exact science. More of a legal protection. FDA has extended those dates before. If you filter, you can probably go on for a few extra months. I would throw them out.

Apparently if their website shows a delivery date, that's the date they shipped it.

In the US, yes. But they are in Canada.

I’m going researcher, taking water for injection (wfi), which is widely used by our eu bros/sis, and mixing with benzyl alcohol. I’ve got some Petri dishes to do some totally unscientific challenge testing. We’ll see how it goes.

Probably going that way eventually if the supply stays tight. Meanwhile I am using every bottle to empty regardless of time and maintaining OCD level cleanliness throughout the process.
