Hospira BAC water availability

Was reading a Q&A on another platform with Janoshik and he said BAC water is not used in Europe for reconstitution…he uses sterile saline for injections. The things that make you go hmmm🤔

I would use Hospira bac water (or a brand that has been 3rd party tested) if you live in US because it can be used much longer than 30 days IF following aseptic best practices.

Sterile saline (aka sodium chloride) comes in 2 versions - w/ benzyl alcohol and w/out. The later is single-use (same day) while the former is good for 30 days after initial use. As far as suitability for whatever you plan to reconstitute, that’s up to you to figure out.
