If China gets shut down for awhile will India become a possible option

Back to the original topic, will Indian replace China as a source for GLP-1 drugs? Let me suggest a third possibility: Yes, Trump's actions might make it far more difficult for Chinese vendors to export drugs to the US. Then those same Chinese vendors will then stay in business but they'll ship from a different country. They send their stuff to Honduras, for example, or some country that the US is not engaged in a trade war with. From there, the GLP-1 drugs will be make it into the US. The prices would go up, but probably not that much. Shipping might take longer at first, although once warehouses are set up in that other country and the vendors adjust, then things would pretty much get back to normal. Eventually customs might start focusing on Honduras. Then we'd continue ordering from China and but the drugs would come from vendors in Finland.

By the way, the most likely scenario in my opinion is that the whole trade war blows over in less than 8 weeks. That's a guess. If I'm wrong, I'll consider changing my profile photo to that of another gorilla.

Funny that a negative portrayal of an entire country of a multitude of different behavior's, custom's, ethnicity's and culture is just a "personal opinion".

Because I am pretty sure the term for that is racism.
You are an idiot. Nobody said a thing about “race”. Nobody said they hate Asians, which is what people in India are.

You are like one of those people who calls someone a “XYZphobe” if they don’t agree with or like a group of people, when a phobia is an “irrational fear.”

It is nothing more than bias and everyone has them. Even you, be it towards people who think India is “scammy” or whatever else hurts your feelings.

Now, before anyone gets butt hurt over me calling you an idiot, I hope they consider how you just wrongfully accused someone of being a racist!

It's the verbiage. "Indians are just more... scammy."

At least specify that a lot of the Indian pharmacies or vendors are scammy. Leaving it at just 'Indians' is a bad look. 🤷‍♀️
Looking at it objectively, there are many entire call centers in India dedicated to defrauding people. This is not false or inaccurate information. Maybe the original post should have stated they were predatory thieves to be more accurate and articulate. Note… I am not the person who called them scammy.

Who are you using that isn't off on holiday?
I don't know who Normal used. I ordered some R30 from Hailey a few days ago. Her response time was slower than normal for her; it is Chinese New Year. However, she still responded in about 16-20 hours. SRY's US warehouse is operating again. It's not closed for CNY.

Racism against Indians is quite normalized. I left reddit because of the same reason. Every time i ask questions related to peptides on reddit, my Dms would be filled with hate terms like scammers, stinky, roaches. These people defend racism by calling Indians racist and reminding us of caste system. One time some one commented I should drink cow pee and it got thousands of upvotes. it was in peptide subreddit, comment was deleted by mod but it shows how acceptable it has become now.

I agree. If the markets tank and/or inflation goes up, Trump will backtrack so fast it’ll make your head spin!

some people, especially the ones that work so hard, avoid any terms like money laundry wire/mail fraud. then people wonder why they don't want to sell to them anymore.
I mean it would probably also attract conspiracy and bank fraud charges. It behooves the people involved in these crimes to be honest with themselves about the risks involved vs getting mad when people acknowledge them. Selling peptides is one thing, international financial fraud is quite another, if these sellers don’t know that then I’m doing them a favor pointing it out so they can get into the risk management of it all. If they do know it then what is there to be upset about?

there's no fraud. people know exactly what they're ordering and getting.

who is being defrauded?

you mean they're circumventing the control banks have to determine what kinds of things they have approved for the public to purchase.

They’re defrauding pharma companies selling their patented products.

Anyway I’m not a lawyer, maybe I’m wrong, point was that this isn’t something for you or anyone to be butthurt over.

i'm just worried about the continued availability of all these things i rely on after just a short time. hopefully it continues forever.

if they're defrauding the pharma hopefully that is classified as a civil matter.

that's what most of us get told when we want the police to do anything.

Sorry you had to deal with that. Thank for sharing a personal perspective that hopefully causes some people to rethink some of their beliefs.

Hatred of an ethnic group is probably, technically speaking, a little different than racism since ethnicity and race and not exactly the same. However, they're pretty close. With apologies to FreeSpectator8, I believe bigotry would have been a better term. Methinks thou doth protest too much.

I never actually called anyone a racist, I said dishing out wholesale slander upon an entire race or ethnicity is racism. But if you feel called out by the description I gave then I guess if the shoe fits.

Wow, I think if you google search "what is the meaning of digging a hole for yourself" this post would be the textbook example. Phobia does mean fear, but fear is not solely represented as the fear you see in a horror movie where people piss their pants and scream and cry. Fear manifests in many other ways; hate, anger, disgust.

For example a lot of people "Just dont like" gay people, for no real good reason, thats an irrational fear, also known as Homophobia. Do you really think Homophobia means to feel fear as in become scared and feel the need to flee from homosexuals?

Very mature. But sure, as Keankong said I should have probably said bigotry, not racism, but I dont think the distinction is very meaningful, its still a terrible thing to defend or perpetrate.
It is nothing more than bias and everyone has them. Even you, be it towards people who think India is “scammy” or whatever else hurts your feelings.
Sorry, a bias is something like, I like chocolate more than vanilla, or I think these clothes look better than those clothes, judging an ethnicity or race of people in a negative way is not a bias, its bigotry, and defending it is pretty fuckin weird.

Also I do just fine not being a bigot in my day to day life, I have no opinions on anyone until they give me information with which to form an opinion. That being said I am not perfect, for example I get a little nervous around beggars when im riding my bike, I dont actually think they are going to do something, but my guard does go up just in case, but im still friendly, I offer them a greeting, I dont stare at them. I remind myself that my life could be the same as theirs if I had not been so lucky to be born to the family I had and the access to the opportunities I had.

The difference between good people and bigots is that good people can recognize that the reactions and judgements they make are not fair and that they need to control them and not let them control their actions, words, or feelings.

Those who violates US laws as to prescription drugs may be punished criminally. Food Drug & Cosmetic Act § 303 (21 U.S.C. § 333) [criminal penalties]. Laws regarding controlled substances are even stricter.

It appears that selling unapproved or misbranded may be punished criminally. That's a separate matter from whether the US government decides to prosecute those offenses.

I've seen FDA warning letters sent out to those selling peptides for "research purposes" but who also make health claims suggesting that those peptides are actually intended for medical use. I do note that these were warning letters and their issuance suggests the FDA was likely planning on not recommending criminal prosecution if the health claims were discontinued. Also, those letters suggest, at least for now, if peptides are sold as research purposes without health claims that the FDA is not claiming there is legal violation

why are you tone-policing? these people had their own personal experience with Indians and are expressing their own personal opinion.
Yes, we should instead just make blanket statements about 1.4 billion people being scammy. That's obviously a good way to handle things.

No, of course we shouldn't do that, what the fuck.

There have been entire call centers in the US dedicated to defrauding people. There have been entire huge corporations. There are a billion MLM pyramid schemes.

No, calling an entire population of people "predatory thieves" is not better than calling them "scammy." Nor is calling an entire country a nasty and horrible place.

How do I exit the portion of this thread that has strayed from speculation about future sources?

Someone will be clever enough to find a way. If China is under too much scrutiny, they'll just send it to some other country, then forward it from there. We'll probably just have to pay more and wait longer. Someone will find a way.

Golden age might be over though- in the discord sry said they're not doing international ships to US anymore. Domestic only for now. I doubt they'll be the only ones.

Yeah. I'm thinking you are right about expense, forwarding and wait times.
