I just paid $72 for 14 tablets that help my 1 year old dog not suffer from itchy skin. I'm supposed to give her up to two per day for the rest of her life, as needed.
Anyone buy pet meds from India? I need a grey market for this stuff - ten bucks +/day is not sustainable. Yesh! I'm waiting for a response on Indiamart.com but it feels like one of the first google results might not be my best bet.
TIA!IMG_1815.jpeg

I don't think I would trust India, China yes, India no.
What's the drug?

Have you googled Benadryl. I have bought apoquel from Canada. It is a bit cheaper. But I usually split a Benadryl in half and give it to my dog in a marshmallow. If he gets bar hot spots I wrap them with anti itch creme inside the wrap.

Thank you, I'll research that.

Can you say why you don't trust India? I have human meds from India that seem legit...
It is Apoquel - 3.6mg tabs (Oclacitinib)
Thanks!
Too many scammers. While sure .. there are also many legitimate sellers .. how can you tell the difference?

Also think about this .. how many of the telemarketer scammers are from India? Like 99% of them? The stereotypes are usually the stereotype for a reason.

Biggest problem I have is any medications coming from India via India Post have almost a 100% guarantee of being confiscated. So far, I have had three different packages from India sent to three different addresses under three different names in the last 2 months. All three were confiscated, although I only got a seizure letter for one so far. Nothing being sent by India Post will make it past CBP. At least medication wise.

If it's sent from India via Dubai Post, it will sail through customs.

As for Kawwal, my second order was with him. I specifically asked him to send via Dubai and told him about India Post being extra scrutinized by CBP. He assured me items would be sent via DP. When he sent me my tracking, it was a India Post number.
When the package got confiscated, he sent a message that he would reship for 50% per his policy. I reminded him that I told him nothing sent via India Post gets through. I didn't reorder. No need to throw good money after bad.

Deal with Kawwal knowing that going in. Whatever he sells you, he will send via India Post, regardless of what he says.

I haven't had a seizure or other issue yet after seven or so orders now from Kawal. But I would agree to at least keep orders smaller so there is less to lose if a particular shipment is seized.

If you are not ordering anything too interesting, AllDayChemist sells India meds and has a higher success rate. More like 99 percent instead of 95+ percent with Kawal. (added: AllDayChemist and ReliableRx seem to only ship from other countries rather than India)

When was your last order? Like I said, 3 inside two months is what I'm dealing with.

That said, nothing from China has been confiscated. Those items have come via EMS. two via FedEx, and one via GoFo.

Last order shipped October 10th, using India Post as always. Arrived October 20th:
There is a theory that if your packages after hitting ISC NY then go to "Jamacai, NY" as opposed to Queens or another city, you probably were flagged by ISC. But that doesn't help explain why.

There are also domestic suppliers of Indian pet meds. The GBBB group just did a group buy recently. Previous to that, so did an Indian reseller who is affiliated with the Joyous group. That reseller also takes custom orders, and I didn't have an issue there either.

All my packages have gone from ISC to Jamaica, NY. So the theory may hold water. Like I said, three different addys and names, all confiscated. If it's because of being flagged, these names/addresses were flagged/burned before I ever used them. Nothing was reused.

On a side note, all my overseas USPS mail orders come in to ISC New York, go to Jamaica, NY, then go to either Queens or Metro distribution after they exit customs. It's at Queens or Metro they enter the domestic mail system. Sometimes tracking skips reporting some of the scanning steps. I even had a India package stop tracking at ISC New York, inbound to customs. Thought for sure it was confiscated. Then out of the blue it showed up on tracking in Avondale, AZ on its way here. Nothing in between. Next package did the same thing. That one never updated, and I got the Notice of Seizure from CBP afterward.

Im done ordering from India. CBP has made it's point with me. If it comes from India, I'm not getting it no matter what. Sucks because it used to be a cheap alternative to other sources, but if you spend the money and never get the product it's not really cheap anymore. For a little bit more, I can buy from Vietnam, Poland, or Hungary/Romania and get it delivered through Dubai.

Lesson learned.

@tncc_rn Have you ever used AllDayChemist or its sister site ReliableRx for some things? They don't ship from India it seems, even though they sell India meds.

The first order from ReliableRx (just retinol in March) shipped from somewhere in Asia I think and the second order (tablets) from Germany. They seem to call for every order, like to let you know it is on the way.

But their selection is relatively minimal. And Andy had a bad experience with them:
I’ve had ADC stuff get seized before and they didn’t do anything to make it right. No drug dealer from India is legitimate. lol

No, I haven't used them. I did look at them a few months back. But at the time I wasn't having the trouble ordering from India that I am having now. I probably will look at what they offer when I need something in the future.

Like Andy said. No drug dealer will make things that go wrong right.

The better Chinese vendors like Uther are usually good at reshiping seized items or fixing their mistakes. The domestic vendors too for fixing things, but they seem to have far more accuracy with orders.

I've used Kawal twice one made it one didn't but the reship made it before the letter lol. I just placed another so we will see. I've used ADC for over 10 years and never had an issue. But their selection is limited. I do agree though, getting meds from India seems to be getting harder these days. Like everything else, it will change once the administration changes.

Yeah it's possible. I posted a few months back that someone who is a contractor with CBP and ICE stated that , along with surging staff to the ISC inspecting areas, the Gov has started using AI systems that review images the scanners have generated and even if the parcel passed human eye review, the system can kick the package out for re-review down the line where it used to sail right on to USPS custody and delivery. I thought the guy was just fear mongering, but it looks like he may have been on the inside with his statement.
