About a month and a half after starting tirzepatide, my gallbladder completely gave up but i didnt know what went wrong at the tine.
Nearly 4 months later a HIDA scan showed it was functioning at 4%.
To be fair, it was probably failing for years. But losing 30 pounds in about 50 days likely pushed it over the edge.
I was sick every single day. In serious pain. Doctors couldn’t figure it out. I was convinced I had cancer or some kind of tumor. I had ultrasounds, CT scans, MRIs — everything. Nothing showed stones. Nothing obvious. By about 2 p.m. every day the bile would start backing up and I’d be miserable.
It got bad enough that I wasn’t exactly pleasant to be around, even here, Some people say I was a complete asshole!
After ER visits, tons of bloodwork, and every test imaginable, I finally got cleared for a HIDA scan. That was the answer. Gallbladder ejection fraction: 4%.
I’m now about 9 days post-op and feeling pretty good. For a long time I didn’t think it was my gallbladder because all the imaging looked “normal” — no stones, no visible damage. But dysfunction doesn’t always show up on basic scans.
If anyone has questions about the lead-up, the diagnosis process, surgery, or recovery, I’m happy to share what I learned the hard way.
And now that im back! Chasing another 600mg stash of reta, 400mg Mots-c and 24iu HGH kits. RN looks like ERP's China warehouse has the best deal on that shopping list atm and they got me coa's for all of it, about to pull.the trigger.
Happy Tuesday you beautiful bitches!!!
