Lira was horrible stuff IMO. I was on prescription lira and ramped up to the max dose and I swear for the tiny effect the drug had, the rebound hunger was 5x as powerful

Kawal, the contact for DMOnlineMeds. But there is less love lately for Kawal and India here lately. Three people I know/trust on this forum have been very unhappy about the situation, including with Kawal himself.

In general, getting packages from India is riskier than China since the reship policy is less generous if there is a seizure.

I almost bought more lira again but decided against it (for various reasons) and bought orfo instead yesterday. The main reason is the curiosity factor for orfo being a tablet with a higher efficacy than lira (in the studies anyway).

Also makes it easier if medicating and driving at the same time, haha.

I am going to test my ALT and AST liver enzymes before and after starting the Chinese underground orfo just to be safe. Will report back either way to this thread as well (since lira as an injectable is said to be extremely easy on the liver in comparison). Won't start orfo right away until I finish my current/last pen of lira.

I am hoping my next order from Kawal India in 2026 will have sema pens in it 🙂 Sema should be made available in India after March of next year, after the patent expires. But I may order lira earlier since it's half life is even shorter than orfo:

1. Liraglutide (Lira): With a half-life of about 13 hours, the drug is eliminated relatively quickly, requiring a daily injection to maintain therapeutic levels.
   
   
2. Orforglipron (Orfo): The reported half-life for Orforglipron is much longer, generally cited in the range of 29 to 49 hours (and sometimes reported up to 76 hours in specific studies). This long half-life supports its once-daily oral dosing without the need for the food and water restrictions required by other oral GLP-1 agonists.

In short, Orforglipron's half-life is more than twice as long as Liraglutide's, making it a once-daily oral option with a sustained effect.

My lira pens were not specially handled at all (no ice packs or anything), but they seemed fine being shipped in the summer from India to eventually Phoenix, AZ near me. The box says to refrigerate after opening, but I always store in the fridge upon arrival.

Thanks for the heads up! That intense rebound hunger is a scary thing and sounds like it happens a lot when people try to discontinue or reduce dosage on any of the glp-1 medications. Getting that while on the max dose of Lira does not sound good.

A family member of mine skipped her weekly dose of tirz a few weeks ago because of some nausea and all I heard the next week was a lot of complaining about hunger.
