My clothes are starting to look baggy now that I've dropped about 22 lbs. I'll wait a little longer before I start buying X-medium again.

I do a mixture of things. For staples like jeans I use Vinted and just buy a couple of pairs of the brand I like but a size smaller. Jean shorts I have gotten a couple of pairs from my local large supermarket but a size smaller than required but now are a snug fit. For an occasion I have bought a new linen jacket in a neutral colour but is currently very slightly too small, but the occasion is in a months time so hopefully that will be just right. That way I can dress up or down with a cheap pack of Temu tshirts.
I can also sew so use my machine to take in a few tops that I love the fabric of.
I have not yet re donated or resold any clothes as I still don’t believe this is real despite being 60lbs down. My intention is to remain on Tirz but there is always a niggle in the back of my mind what if I can’t get anymore, what if there is a uk crackdown on imports, if my favourite vendors disappear, if this forum gets nuked.... what will happen when my current 4-5 yr (😳) hoard runs out... I can feel an urge to check my bank account and plan my next purchase🤦‍♀️.

The vote I was looking to cast was "Buy at a Thrift Store". I do that a bit.

I have the same problem; pants falling down, shirts hanging like a collapsed tent.

Luckily, I'm a bit of a hoarder so I've still got clothes issued to me by the government from my teenage years, stuff I bought decades ago; smaller, larger. I could live another 100 years and not run out of various sizes of clothes in any event.

Geez, our thrift stores in the pnw have HIGH prices. As in close to Amazon brand prices or sale prices in a store.

Id rather just buy new. Used to thrift store shop, but instead of cheap, the ones in my area are competitive with new pricing.

Never been so grateful for a simple leather belt, I've drilled so many new holes in mine I'm to the point where I need to start cutting off some of the length.
