Have you found any method or supplement that has improved your sleep?

Epithalon at 1mg daily for a month, then used as needed (usually once or twice a week) worked amazing for the 2 rats in our house. One rat has had sleep problems since their 20's. They now sleep through the night. I found that after the initial "onboarding" of a 30 day cycle and a 2 week break, the rat would get sleepy during the day if epi was given once a day. Switching to once or twice a week solved that problem.
Nasal spray or pinning?

I was thinking I would try my first nasal spray with this one but then learned all the research on it was done by pinning
peptide critic had a good video for epi/dsip if you want to go that route. I have ordered dsip but they were out of epi so waiting to order it

May I ask - where did you pick up this protocol from? From all I have read, the recommended protocol is 0.2-0.5mg (or older 5-10mg) 10-20 days on, 4-6 months off. I would appreciate your thoughts.

We tried the lower dose to on-board. We did not see results. We read that others do a higher dose with better outcomes. So we started gradually going up...2mg was too much and we settled on 1mg.

What was your experience at 2mg?

Can I ask where you got your epithalon from and was it tested? I want some but can't find anyone who tests it

Many of us are on a sleep improvement journey and I thought we should have a dedicated sleep thread to share what we have tried and what works.

Throughout my life I’ve found most things that help me sleep tend to make me sleep hard but shorter. This includes most intense exercise and even CJC1295.

Getting into bed at a set evening time like 9pm has really helped.

Got epithalon on the way. Thinking about starting magnesium supplements.

But what have you tried and what has worked for you?
I've struggled with insomnia for about 3 years. I take magnesium glycinate and half a trazadone at bedtime, but something magical happened when I found my reta dose. I had been on tirz for a while and titrated up slowly. Right around 8mg I started sleeping so deeply again. omg it made me feel like a new person.

The main components of my sleep stack are:
Magnesium Glycinate
Glycine
If I need some extra, deep, or fast recovery, I'll add:
Ashwagandha
Apigenin

Last couple nights I have slept from like 9-10pm to 3-4am. Think this might be from BPC in the evening as that is what others have experienced. Also on Reta which I find requires a snack to make it through the night.

First night I was hooped, stayed up.

After all of you brought up magnesium I thought I’d try a Hand full of pumpkin seeds and slice of bread with peanut butter and sure enough I fell asleep hard and finished out the night.

My sleep issue is that I wakeup about 3 hours after falling asleep and then I'm up for hours. Probably due to cortisol spikes. I tried DSIP, but it did nothing for me.
I started taking 400mg of Magnesium Glycinate at bedtime and it's made a huge difference. I am getting a great night of sleep about 90% of the time. I wear an Apple Watch to track my sleep and the stats are backing up how I feel. For me, Magnesium Glycinate is one of my all-time top supplements.

Still interested to hear how Epitalon works for you guys.
For this problem CBN combined with CBD or even better with THc was the solution. According to my sleep doc, my sleep pattern is perfect with this, and I am perfectly awake during the day.

Close to me. I've always gone to bed early due to work, and still do even though I'm retired. So, 8:30 to anywhere from midnight, it's usually around 2 or 3 and I just lay there till 4:30 and get up. That Magnesium Glycinate showed up and I'll pop one tonight. My wife wants one too. Hopefully it works.

I take magnesium glycinat, l-teanin, gaba, apigenin, glycine & ashwagandha and it helps me fall asleep but I only sleep for 4-6 hours (mostly 4). I can't remember which ones are supposed to help me fall asleep and which ones to help me not wake up so easy but some of them are not working for me. Thinking about trying some peptides for sleep but have no clue which ones.

I’m about to try Epitalon

Some have reported that really helps. Others felt nothing. Same with DSIP which is slightly misnamed.

I think whether it is magnesium or a peptide some things work for some and not for others because the reasons we all can’t sleep are as varied as the different ‘solutions’ out there

Very wise words. I couldn't agree more. Tirz ruined my sleep but it's still worth is for all the good it's doing and I feel ok with the sleep I get. Still have energy to go to the gym at 4 am every day.

Yes I was just looking up the availability and cost for Epithalon myself. I read that the dosage is 5mg a day for 20 days so at a first glance it's like $35 for the 20 days.

I think I need to just take a break from all of my sleep supplements and reset my body. Are taking a break from ashwagandha already.

Glycine + Apigenin should 'knock' you out. Ashwagandha usually helps with deep sleep / keeps you asleep (a lot of fake brands though), and you have to take it way earlier than the rest of your stack if you struggle with sleeping through.
If you look into peptides, I've got DSIP on my list, couldn't test it yet.

I take multiple forms of magnesium every night, and stay on a relatively set schedule. I also get up super early to do cardio everyday, and then lift a few days on top of that, usually by about 8pm I am fighting sleep.

Sauna/meditation. We don’t always need chemicals. Improving your sleep hygiene will help more than any supplement.
Yeah if I wake in the night reading for ten to twenty minutes usually gets me back to sleep

Meditation, there was a time when this relaxed me enough to sleep but I’m so out of practice it would only send the monkey mind racing in a desperate frenzy to not lose its chaotic hold over my attention
