Nexaph 3P test group and self-testing

For a variety of reason, I decided that my first purchase of grey would be via Nexaph. I realize that I'm paying more than CN sources, but I'm taking baby steps 😂! Maybe as I get more familiar with the process and various suppliers I'll move to other sources.

Anyways. I was able to find my way to StG and FPPG on telegram (thanks to this forum) and I'm in a 3P test group. So, everything is going great. Now I'm just wondering if I should independently send one of my own vials for testing. Is that something people usually do? I see that Nexaph sponsors a 3P test, but I'm not feeling the love about that test. And although the 3P independent group test is great, that requires a certain level of trust, and I'm totally new to grey, so I'm not sure how much I am to rely on that. Just wondering about the reliability to test groups on FPPG and/or if I should send a vial for testing on my own. I calculated the cost, and even if I paid for my own test that my cost per mg would be half what I was paying for compounded tirzepatide. Not that that should be the benchmark.

The only reason I would consider independent testing in your situation is if the results come back showing significant variability in the fill. Like for T60, one vial from a kit having 65 mg and another vial from another kit having 75 mg. I purchased the most recent T60 batch and the vendor test came back with 72.01, 66.64 and 71.49 milligrams across the three vials. It's the 66.64 that has me concerned. But if anything, that would result in an underdose if I took the average of these tests.

There was also a Freedom Diagnostics test (sponsored by Nexa, if I understand correctly), that measured 64.03 mg from one vial. It will be interesting to see what happens with the 3P independent and 3P vendor sponsored tests as far as volume.

Honestly, I wouldn't bother. While yes, the variance is a bit annoying, its not the end of the world with tirz. Let's say your target dose is 10 and you calculate the vial as 70mg and your vial ends up being 66 .. well you will have a dose of 9.4mg for 7 weeks. Or if the vial is really 75mg your real dose would be 10.7mg for that 7 weeks. In either case is it really that big of a deal?

Would not test either, unless the additional testing shows greater variability. Even then, I'm cheap, so I would have to think about it.

Though there are domestic labs with a decent reputation like Freedom Diagnostics at $225, one can get T100 by Uther from a traditional GB for $220, including shipping.

Thank for the response! I totally agree. I'm on 15-16mg dose right now, so a little overfill or underfill isn't going to make much of a difference.

Am I okay with the 3P test group on FPPG? I thought I read somewhere that sometimes test groups can be scams too, but FPPG seems to have some guardrails in place.
