One reason I plateau, spoiler alert- self induced

I'll chime in and say that I've been happily enjoying up to 12oz of wine a day (most days just 6oz), using a measure so that I don't go over 'cause the glass is big, counting it in my daily calories, and still losing when I stick to my calorie goals. I was a bit stuck for a couple of months, but I bumped up to 10mg Tirz and I'm losing again now, with the wine. I don't doubt that things would work *even better* if I let it go completely, but I don't want to, and I get along well enough to be okay with the consequences. I just really like a glass of unwinding wine at the end of a day.
I also drink 3-4 times per week, mostly Red Wine, this compares to everyday before I was a month into Reta.

I managed to hit my goal weight in just over six months, in spite of this. I did note more water retention from alcohol and I generally lose most weight in the four days post shot, alcohol intake is generally days 5-7 (Thursday- Saturday).

I think what worked for me was moderating both frequency & volume of alcohol while maintaining an average deficit of ~800-1000 cals per day.
