I want to place an order for very first time. I have heard stories where canadians customs have seized the packages.

I want to know
How often it happens?
What is the workaround to avoid this?
delivery to Canada (GTA)

I think in Toronto you will be fine. Iv had mutliple orders on east coast and no issues. Also there are a couple venders with Canadian warehouses if you dont wanna mess with customs, they have limited items in stock though so depending on what your looking for it may or may not work.
 
I’m on the west coast and placed my first order recently. Didn’t even touch customs. It was pre cleared before the flight even landed.

I don’t think there’s much WE can do. I think it’s going to depend on the vendors chain of custody and how they get things into the country. So I think all you can do is pick one with a good reputation for replacing or refunding if it gets picked up, and hope for the best. That’s what I did. I am curious if the vendor I went with has a solid way of getting packaged in since it was pre cleared, or if I just got lucky. I’ll be placing a bigger order early next month. So I guess we’ll see.

Glad to hear this, my upcoming order will likely come through Vancouver and I was wondering if everything was getting stopped there or stuff was still getting through. 👍

Just hope it doesn’t come through uniuni on this end. It took 4 days to get here from China and it’s been bouncing around Canada for another 8 and I still don’t have it.

4 days from China is great! That 8 day Canada-churn is annoying though... I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Let us know when you finally get it. I'll be placing a small order in the next 2 weeks, and then, if successful, a larger one. I'll share my shipping-through-Vancouver results as well. 👍

It changed to “out for delivery” this morning. I’m standing by the window waiting to see if it actually shows up as I type this lol

👏 Exciting!!!

2 weeks ago, for a delivery I was eagerly awaiting, didn't I SEE the Canada Post van pull up, put a sticker on my door and drive off. Didn't even ring the buzzer or call my phone for entry. NOOOooooo you MFers! I put my shoes on, grabbed the sticker, and chased that truck across several streets until I caught up to him (2 stops later lol). Huffing and puffing and sweating, I presented the sticker and he did give me the package. Probably was frightened by a sweaty psychopath that chased his van across town, and didn't want to further enrage the madwoman. Hahahah!

And that’s why I’m standing by the window. Uniuni already has a terrible track record and bad reviews. So I’m just chillin on my phone waiting by the window to see if they even attempt to stop.

Uniuni is awful, took 8 days to get from Ontario to BC, then they came and rang my buzzer at 1130pm to deliver lol

Is there specific reason you know it will come through Vancouver? Ive done 5 orders and only 1 came through Vancouver and got seized lol (I also live in Vancouver)

No, I don’t know for sure. Just that everything I’ve ever ordered from international (Temu, etc) has come through Vancouver customs (which I can see on the tracking). So I’m just assuming it will be the same for this… but I could be wrong.

Whenever I've got peptides I only find out where it arrived in canada after it passes through customs
 
Im wondering if its the bac water that makes the shipment easier to detect in customs.

I don't think many people use/order vendor BAC, but rather Hospira which is available for purchase from the pharmacy and is totally fine from a customs perspective anyway.

Yep! You were right. My shipment didn't come through Vancouver (which I had assumed), it came through Mississauga, Ontario. A quick 4 days from China to Canada. And then an annoying 8 days doing God-knows-what with Uni Uni to get to my home. But all in all, very pleased it wasn't seized and arrived in perfect condition. 😊
