Orforglipron: The next big thing?

Thank you, @geoguy78. I’ll definitely do that research. I’m actually on my third day of tesofensine, 250 mcg capsules from Kimera. First day took less than that by emptying just a bit into an empty capsule. Felt really great, really clean. Yesterday and today have taken just the one 250 mcg dose. Doing well, no problems. Still, I’ve read about the very long half-life and the insomnia issues people have had when it builds up and want to avoid that, so thinking I’ll skip taking any on the two weekend days. Definitely need to learn more about orforglipron, but your reply is helpful and I appreciate it. If I do try it, I’ll post back to this thread on how it affects me, and how they both work together. So far on the Teso, I do notice some hunger suppression though not super major. Read that keeps building, too.

I know a research subject, following the protocol Lilly used:
All participants in the orforglipron treatment arms started the study at a dose of orforglipron 1mg once-daily and then increased the dose in a step-wise approach at four-week intervals to their final randomized maintenance dose of 6mg (via steps at 1mg and 3mg), 12mg (via steps at 1mg, 3mg and 6mg) or 36mg (via steps at 1mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg and 24mg).
Appetite seems suppressed already at 1mg.

Wanted to report I’ve taken Orforglipron six times now. I got the 6 mg capsules from Peptide Sciences, quite expensive by the way. It’s definitely for real, as I took one capsule the first time and after several hours, found myself definitely nauseated and certainly feeling eating was far from desirable. So the next time I did not take the whole capsule. Hard to know exactly my dose but it was good, got the food aversion and only slight if any nausea. And that’s what I’ve continued to this point, taking less than the entire capsule.

Have also been taking Tesofensine daily, usually two 250 mcg capsules a day, sometimes one. I’d say there is some appetite suppression but it’s different than the Orforglipron. Sort of like - not getting hungry as I usually would but not really food aversion or no food noise. Might not be saying this well. Anyway, not having any extreme Teso side effects that others have described, but I am starting to feel like it may not be sustainable for me. I do like it for the energy, but that only lasts a very short time now and then I’m almost exhausted in a way and feel sort of not right bodily. Plus, it’s not the clean, great mood type feeling I had in the beginning.
