Is anyone else keeping their peptide use under wraps? I keep my one reconstituted bottle hidden in the fridge's water filter cover. I've only done single vials domestic so far, but I've got an Amo 10-pack coming. I wish I had read more before buying from them. Sharps have their own spot that is out of sight and mind.

Explaining gray market peptides to loved ones is not a bridge I intend on crossing soon, so I keep it pretty quiet.

How do you handle it? Do you have any tips for staying discreet or funny stories about explaining it? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Not my Tirz use, bet I definitely don't tell people about my addiction to Dermorphin! JK I don't tell people anything. Been burned too many times in the past from people I "trusted."

"Dermorphin is a hepta-peptide first isolated from the skin of South American frogs... The peptide is a natural opioid ..." South American, derived from frogs, and natural. Would probably go over better than "bootleg ozempic".

I was on MJ for a bit, then was in the CS study for 18 months. My peeps know I was on "the shot" so that's what I still go with. No details. And nobody has asked me anything further. I'm totally fine with them thinking I pay $650 per month for the name brand stuff.

Don't worry about that, I had worse drugs than that in my fridge and freezer aha

Just put it under some food and people won't notice it 😋

I find it silly how many people has to "handle" explaining their health choices to others.

This is not meant as criticism towards you, it's exasperation of the mentality of our society...

People have a harder time making people accept their, in my opinion HEALTHY choice of taking a glp-1.

Than I have with completely open with my steroid ABUSE, because I'm unhappy with how I look in the mirror, and no one seems to have an issue with it.

I tell people it's chinese ozempic so sort of bootleg too 🤣

I store them with the butter though so everyone knows I'm on that stuff

My spouse initially thought I had suddenly taken a great interest in skin care products when packages started arriving. He already knew I was on compounded and I didn't dispel him of that notion because I still was while stocking up with research. One day he asked if the Lilly lawsuits would impact where I was getting my tirz from. So I came clean (mostly). I was mostly worried that he would be concerned about it being safe from a health standpoint but turned out all his concerns were about me "breaking the law". 😂 I should've known as he's more of a rule follower than I am. He only knows about the tirz for now.
 
I live alone. My sister is coming to visit for Thanksgiving. I'm trying to figure out how to hide some of my stuff. I really do not want to take the ones in the freezer out of the freezer. Not sure how to hide it really. She will definitely be asking questions if she ever saw a real needle. She thinks I'm just on regular Zepbound.

I think it is more than just about health choices. Before I started overseas peptides last year and read about it, I thought people were insane and that I would never do something that crazy and dangerous. I was convinced that people would be accidentally shooting themselves up with fentanyl and be dying all over the place.

I think fully explaining that you are injecting unmarked vials of stuff you got from china through an insulin needle is cause for concern for most people who are unfamiliar with this whole world. It doesn't help that you can't really freely talk about it on a lot of social media without being shut down either. If my sister just saw a vial and a needle, she and probably assume it was some type of hard drug.

Even though I thought it was crazy I am still so glad I discovered this last year. I'm way healthier than in early 2023. It is like the opposite of doing hard drugs because you are injecting to make yourself healthier.

Put them in the bottom of a box of frozen food. Out of sight, out of mind.
 
my friends and family know I'm doing the compound from a US pharmacy, but when I mentioned "gray" to a few ...they said DO NOT do that ....so they don't know ...a friend's husband is a drug manufacturer. At some point, I may tell him I have the powder in my freezer.

This is a HydraPeak insulated thermos filled with 2 inserts to hold peptides. The inserts were made with a 3D printer by someone on another forum I’m in, but I think I’ve also seen them on Etsy. You can also find syringe cases on Amazon and other places.

I have them in thermoses now actually.

However you don't know my sister. She will ask why I have thermoses in the freezer and will probably try to open them.

Maybe get a box of frozen food and then when you empty it, put the vials in there. Make sure it is something she wouldn't eat and it is stuffed in the back.

Or you can always just buy a new sister 🤷‍♂️

I’ve wondered the same thing. I thought about buying some pharmacy labels from Alibaba or something just so they looked better than strange empty vials.

Even my
Doctor is aware. … he said he can’t exactly recommend it but….. he agreed not to make notes about my illegal drug use in my chart and I answered all his questions he had a lot 🙂

As far as I am concerned, it's nobody's business but mine. People are too judgey and I don't have the time and energy to "explain myself" to people whose opinion I didn't ask for 🙃 Honestly, the people here know more about what I'm taking than anyone else in my life.

I do second the mini fridge for stealth storage. I bought one recently that has a lock on it and am testing it before moving my storage over to it. It's small enough to store in the closet so it's definitely out of the way of prying eyes.

I actually woke up in the middle of the night wondering about fent in my CN order.

It’s still a whole weird world, and I’m so glad I have you folks to talk to about it.

I tell people I’m on compound, which was true and in my own way, I’m the compounder now.

It’s 32 ounces and each tray holds 18 vials. If you’re on Discord you can send me a DM here and I can send you an invite to Maker’s Market which is like Etsy for pep-related products (no peps).
 
My wife takes as many peptides as I do. I don't have to answer to anyone else, but I also talk about it with everyone.

I’m mainly concerned about the stinging issue, which seems to be improving. This will be my first order from China, so I do have some nerves about that. I was using Skye previously—they were effective and easy to work with, but the price difference was significant. If cost weren’t a factor and I didn’t have a compound prescription, I’d stick with Skye. I’m hoping domestic suppliers eventually lower their prices to better compete with what Chinese vendors offer (maybe 2x instead of 10x) I’ll keep you updated on how it goes with Amo, first pin and will be tonight
 
Nope just me and my amazing internet acquaintances😅! From the beginning, I didn't want to have the $$$ argument when I went thru telehealth to get it. My husband would've raised cain about the price I paid from the original place sooooo, the current batch not from telehealth just remains in freezer. I still have telehealth left but its in vial holder in fridge, nobody pays it any attention. He doesn't question anything I do medical, but I just like keeping this one to myself. I'm just on Lipo shot that contains B12 as far as anyone knows, and I'm fine with that. I've been married 26 years and we have a great relationship. He loves me at any size, but I don't love me at any size.

I just reconstituted 15 mg tirz with 1.5ml bac. (10mg/ml). I dosed 20 units, so 2mg; I've been microdosing every 2-3 days. I can feel where I injected, but I don't think it's any different than with my Skye tirz, which I just finished a few days ago. I get a little nauseous 24-36 hours after taking it; I'll feel better if it hits the same as my previous vial.
 
My wife is extremely opposed to compounded tirz. I considered keeping it hidden but just don't want to operate behind her back. We have a tense agreement that she not interfere. Going to keep a tiny refrigerator in the upstairs bathroom for the vials and keep the needles out of sight. I take my first dose tomorrow.
