Yes, every Sunday for the week. What about you?

I don’t prefill a week at a time, but will do the evening pins first thing in the morning with the wake up doses. If I’m transitioning protocols (SS-31 to MOTS, for example), I may prefill for the next 36-48 hours. It all heads directly back into the clean box in the fridge obvi.

With my work schedule and active life, pre-filling a week ahead of time is the only way I can maintain compliance and stick to my peptide protocol.

I don’t prefill syringes because it’s not a good practice

All I can say about prefill is this, can be done but storage in fridge and needle should be pointing upwards not laying down on its side. And its safe to prefill up to 2 weeks.
Is what I learned, I am a RN.

I have one now and three on pre-order. But it seems like I'll have to buy a butt-load for all my research. I need to stop researching so much DARN IT! HA! ☺️

All I can say about prefill is this, can be done but storage in fridge and needle should be pointing upwards not laying down on its side. And its safe to prefill up to 2 weeks.

Thanks for the “tip” about needle placement. I wouldn’t have thought of that. I do put the caps back on. ;-). Going forward I’ll stand them up in a sterilized jar (caps still on of course).

I learned it was not a good idea. We weren’t given storage tips, just told not to do it. I’m an RN as well.

CNAs usually make better nurses imho. But I guess I am bias on that.

My opinion as an RN that pre-filling is not BEST practice. Having a bunch of needles laying around not marked, not labelled makes my nurse brain😵‍💫even if it is at home. But it isn't like joint commission is going to come knocking on your door. Besides, they are too busy worrying about staff snacks.

THANKS! That’s a nice comment. Most of the RN’s I adore and respect were once upon a time a CNA or LVN. I’m looking forward to becoming an RN soon.

And I have OCD and I’m a germaphob so I label every syringe. LOL.. 😝

The primary reason I pre-fill my research items is because of time constraints and my desire to adhere to my daily research material load. If I had all the time in the universe I'd probably draw each Peptide as needed then and there or buy 20 pens. HA! 🤭

FWIW - If you need any nurse in the making advice, thoughts, rants, or whatever hmu. It isn't easy. There is good and bad with it all. Eventually finding where you fit is in my opinion the key. I mean get the experience, do the time or whatever but makle sure you find something you actually like. Everyone is different and will like something different.

The CDC has guidance on it. They don't recommend prefilling syringes because of the potential rick of administering it to the wrong person. Contamination isn't listed as a reason to not prefill syringes anymore. Unless Iamipac lives with a bunch of peptide junkies, he's probably fine🙂 Some meds come from the manufactures prefilled. My cat gets her pain meds in prefilled syringes.

I was never a CNA, but only because I was in nursing school. They called me a student nurse, but I was a CNA.
