I've been on reta since The middle of November. Started at 2mg and have titrated up to 8mg. I have lost close to 20lbs and I am about 30lbs from my goal weight. Before reta I did carnivore for about 6 months and then ketovore for about 6 months and lost about 70lbs. I have a Garmin smartwatch and track my sleep. My sleep score before reta was always on the 70-80 range. Since starting reta it's down to the 50-60 range, so as a result my training status is always low, Anyone else experience something like this?

I just started a week ago, but I’m consistently waking up in the middle of sleep. That being said, I don’t feel any less alert, because the reduced junk and alcohol consumption balance out the lack of sleep. But I kinda assumed the insomnia would go away, though for you, sleep hasn’t improved in a few months.

I've always had trouble sleeping through the night, but on reta my RHR is up and my HRV is down, so sleep score suffers for me because of that.

Interested in this. I haven’t seen too many posts about energy increases, which I’m experiencing along with interrupted sleep.

Been on for 34 days and at 4mg per week. I’m doing more of a recomp in a slight deficit, so only down about 7 pounds. I seem to be falling asleep easily but then waking up after about four hours and then getting interrupted sleep after that. Averaging 6.5 total hours per night. But then once I’m up I’m UP. I feel like I’m on cocaine half the time 😂. I’ve cut out pre workout and doing fine in the gym. Just a lot more energy despite the sleep interruptions.

Anyone else experiencing this? I’m not complaining but it was unexpected. I’ve read a lot more about people being run down and tired.

Another positive effect seems to be triglycerides. Mine were already low because of being on crestor but in the past thirty days they fell from 50 to 12. LDL down from 76 to 63.

I have horrible sleep. But don’t know if I can attribute it to Reta. I’ve been out of work with a torn hamstring so pretty much nursing that. So my sleep pattern is thrown all out of whack. This first few weeks I was peeing like every hour all through the night. That’s why I dropped 13 pounds in 2 weeks. All water weight I believe. I was not doing much but peeing all day and night.

I've experienced this quite a bit. Extended release low dose melatonin helps some, but not perfectly.
