I'm curious to know what causes a "super responder" to be so successful at lower doses like 2.5. I started losing 1.5-2lb right away, not sure if I can call myself a super responder or what.
It's not necessarily the starting weight, since the highest the starting weight, the faster/bigger losses at first. In my case, my SW was close to 190lb and I still had considerable losses. Someone at 300lb will definitely lose a lot at first (eve if it's just "water weight" or inflammation)
Maybe it's the comorbidities, like PCOS, hormonal issues or glucose/insulin issues like pre-diabetes insulin resistance, etc.
Maybe it's how strong is the appetite suppression and food aversion? In my case that's a huge factor. I'm truly not hungry and I force myself to eat 800-1000 calories a day.
I know I'm lucky that I respond so well to 2.5 mg and I'm planning on staying at this dose for as long as I can.
