I am on Reta and love it, my husband is glp curious but his big complaint is inflammation - he gets very swollen ankles and elbows sometimes and a touch of the gout. Do we think tirz or reta would be a better bet for him to start on? I generally think Reta is king for all but I've read a few things about tirz being better for arthritis. He's never taken any peps before. I have both tirz and reta on hand, was thinking I'd also order some glow and maybe tesa but at this time he's only willing to take one thing. He's 50m/220lbs. Thanks for your help!

I can only speak from experience on Tirz. I have been on for 1 year. Went hard stop at 10mg. I lost 75 pounds. I did notice a marked increase in pain reduction from old injuries and did for sure drop water weight and inflammation.

I have also done two 12 week rounds of Tesa at 1.5 mg daily. Each time I actually had pretty significant water retention. I gained 2-3 pounds each time. My vote would be to avoid this.

If he just runs Tirz, im.pretty confident he will see an improvement. One of my friends very recently started based on my experiences. He also said he had a reduction in pain and inflammation
