Tirzhelp telegram nuked.

Either a bot determined they were violating terms, or someone with a grievance reported the violation to telegram, so telegram shuts down the group. My money is on the guys eli Lilly has hired to monitor our little corner of the internet (hi guys, I’m sure you’re reading this). Send a scary letter from pharma lawyers and the path of least resistance quickly becomes nuking.
Their members love to go back to Reddit and show & tell and brag, while trying and failing to be cryptic. Some of them talk way too much about the who, when, where, why.

The good folks direct people to their guides and leave like that, but Reddit (and FB) is a diff breed of buyers.

Correct. Other than getting banned for posing as a user when you’re actually a vendor, you have to cross an objectively deplorable line to get banned.
Not really... That place is heavily moderated and free speech, especially if it goes against the hive mind, is very discouraged. I've never seen a place just indiscriminately delete so many comments. People have been banned just for not taking their discussion to a different channel. I think the word "deplorable" is doing a lot of work in that statement. 🤷‍♀️

They are back up and also there is a Discord. I prefer the style of a forum like this though that Telegram would get WILD with so many replies. It was hard to keep up with. Sometimes the chat format doesn't work well with this type of information.

It's the crew directly from Reddit, they just brought over the same censorship that exists there.

Reddit people LOVE censorship, over-moderation, and being told what they can't say. Literally their favorite things of all time.

People love complaining about private companies moderating their products in a manner that the market demands. If you don’t like the way Reddit is moderated then you can always head over to 4chan and bathe yourself in free speech.

it is way over moderated. you get one of those punks, the kind that wants to be a security guard or cop who loves control and power and its all set.

i like the way you just thread ban people and let them cool off and have the opportunity to keep participating.

Sure, there are moderation decisions I disagree with at the subreddit level, and i just avoid those subs. Then there are Reddit policies which i also disagree with, but i understand why they do it and recognize their right to do so. There is a reason wholly unmoderated platforms remain niche, and it’s because most people don’t like them.

I'll take my ability to report men who threaten me via DM, thank you.

4chan is the #81 most trafficked website in the US with over 217 million visits a month lol I'd hardly call that "niche".

i didnt complain once lmao just stated how much they love censorship and over-moderation there, which everyone seems to agree with
