I don’t think it can be over-moderated. It is moderated as they wish it to be, which is just the right amount. The same is true of 4chan. You are free to choose accordingly, and it seems like Reddit and glp1forum are your revealed preference.

i got banned for providing facts from the WHO about botox, apparently if you even say the word botox the nacho user copy and pastes a long 4 paragraph manifesto about how you WILL die if you DIY botox and its the most DEADLY and TOXIC substance in the WORLD, that would NEVER be approved by the FDA today. the last FDA approval for cosmetic botox was in 2017...Not really... That place is heavily moderated and free speech, especially if it goes against the hive mind, is very discouraged. I've never seen a place just indiscriminately delete so many comments. People have been banned just for not taking their discussion to a different channel. I think the word "deplorable" is doing a lot of work in that statement.

I see where you're coming from. But I think at its core, it's a tirz/sema/reta place with some of the more common peps thrown in. I don't have an opinion either way, but Botox seems well outside the scope of what they're trying to build.
