This topic comes up periodically in some form or another, and it is almost always 100% based in a fundamental lack of understanding of the differences between Western and Eastern cultures and business practices.
One of the important aspects to understand is the structure and nature of Chinese businesses, whether "legit" or not, and your sales reps' position. There are countless levels of "managers", and ultimately the front-line reps you deal with have ZERO autonomy in anything that they do.
The reps have one job: make the sale. They follow instructions (I've often described it as their "programming"). They do what they're told. They can't decide anything, whether it's to give you a discount, a refund, or anything else. They are not equipped to problem-solve, and will often be reluctant to do so since it usually means that their manager(s) will look poorly on them and possibly punish them for their "failure", even if it was something completely outside of their control.
The next thing people fail to understand is that these reps aren't just selling you peptides. They're selling knock-off Gucci handbags, Air Jordans, and countless other products. All done under different names, contacts, etc. and all at the same time. Whichever product they're selling to different customers on the other side of the world are always going to be the "best", "highest quality", etc. And they don't work at the "factory" where any of this stuff is produced or even located. They have likely never even seen or touched the product in question. They don't just get up from their cubicle and walk on down to the shipping department to check on your order.
Finally, and similarly to industries around the world, there are only so many of them. So, when they have a sales quota to meet in order to be able to keep their job, if they don't get the sense that you're a serious buyer (or you're one of the imbeciles asking them reconstitution or other idiotic questions), they're going to move on to the next prospect.
Just like your local used car salesperson, Chinese sales reps aren't your buddy, pal, or friend. They are interested in one thing, and that's getting you to pay them for whatever they're selling. Being concerned about their "attitude" is pointless and silly, and folks need to learn how to turn off their inner Karen or Kevin when buying peptides from China and treat it like the nameless, faceless, impersonal transaction that it is and leave emotions out of it.
